My previous comment was to point out that you can't trade liberty for security. You end up losing liberty and not having the security promised.

CNN is going on and on about how Nice is the most secure city in France due to security cameras, face recognition, and all sorts of other security measures.

If someone is intent on killing, they'll do it with pressure cookers or a rental truck. If you ban those, they'll find another equally devastating method.

Has someone come out and said officially this guy was connected with Isis? From the news stories it sounds like the guy was a loner who wouldn't talk to other people and had no apparent religious affiliation. It looks like he just wanted to kill a lot of people but didn't have a reason. That makes it even scarier to me. Exactly what war are you asking for? Invade France? Syria? Iraq? The 'istans?

We need to strip the citizenship of anyone who went over there to fight for ISIS and indict the banks that are holding money for ISIS. That includes US, Europe and Russian banks. Your desire for WW II tactics will not work.
