The Delaware 87ers (10-25) took on the Maine Red Claws (13-18) for the third time this season. The Sevens edged past the Red Claws, 100-98, and take a 2-1 lead in the season series.
Tiny Gallon dropped in 32 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. With 1.6 seconds left in the game, Gallon put the Sevens up for good with a late lay-up and locked up player of the game honors.

Bo Spencer (ten points, four assists) knocked down a crucial three pointer with less than four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, allowing the Sevens to tie the game 91-91. Missed opportunities at the foul line by the Red Claws, and a key basket from Damien Saunders (14 points, five rebounds), allowed the 87ers to take a 98-96 lead with less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Daniel Orton led Maine in scoring with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Six of the Red Claws scored in double figures.

The 87ers return to action, Tuesday, February 11, when they face the Erie BayHawks. The game tips off at 7:00p.m. E.T. at the Bob Carpenter Center.
