Sponsors on jerseys are bad enough. Sponsors bigger than the logo? Bigger than the city or team name?
Fuck.

Lame.

To be clear, my problem is with the ads, not the style of shirt. Unless they want the players to wear them, in which case, fuck 'em in the neck.No way I'm putting anything on my body that says "MODA" on it.
However, a straight up 'clima-cool' fabric "Trail Blazers" soccer style shirt would be, cool.
Sans ads.
I know, unfortunately I can't bring it back to LA since its over the 3oz rule. There's a new burgerville at PDX hopefully they sell the spread in jars (its after TSA). I guess I could mail order some but then I'd have to pay that fucking shipping.
One of the few good things about living in Southern Oregon is you can drive down to Redding for In N Out.
I just really think it's funny that we laud a burger franchise because they basically make a hamburger that's about as good as something you'd make on your own grill. That's pretty sad because of what it says about the fast food burger in general.
When something is regional, the mystique plays a bigger part in it. If people are saying "Hey, this place is good... it's only available here" Then the lure and myth of it grows, and so when you do finally get to have it, it's already pre-determined good, unless it just really sucks. But your mind is pretty much already telling you it's good because that's all you ever heard.
Well, from the time I spent down in LA, the hamburger meat in general is just god awful. So In and Out actually has some of the best hamburger meat in that area. That probably helps.
Jesus. LA is a straight up burger town. You don't know what you're talking about.

Meat down there gives me the shits.
Meat up here does not.

LA has awesome burgers everywhere. Much better than Portland's selection. Don't know what god-forsaken joints you're going to.
Nate only likes hamburgers prepared by hipster over educated underemployed white people.

"Wack," lol...You really have to order it right. Cheeseburger Animal Style, get the fries animal style as well. Used to go for the double double with grilled onions. Just ordering a regular burger there is pretty wack.
This is how I do it.
Fast food is wack brahWait, I thought we were talking about fast food. Not one-off restaurants.

Takes long as fuck thoughThat's what I've been trying to say! I equate In and Out/Burgerville with fastfood.

I don't often agree with Wookie, but this time, he's spot on!FUCKING HELL FUCKING NO.
As for In-n-Out, its "ok". I don't go actively seeking it out, every once in a while I'll go since its close and open late. There are a few other joints that are a little better, I like Fatburger and The Habit better, which are also close. Not a real fan of fast food burgers, I usually go for the more upscale gourmet burgers.
I went to the infamous "In-and-Out" Burger when I was in San Francisco recently. I wanted to taste what all the fuss was about. The place was packed and it took forever.
Big fucking deal. So fucking overratted. A completely mediocre hamburger. From what I can gather, what makes them "special" is their sauce. Which is more or less identical to the old Arctic Circle hamburger and fry sauce. Arctic Circle had the best burgers in my area -- until they were put out of business by McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. Still pisses me off.
Ah, Capitalism.
i remember burgerville being super yum, and in and out is pretty great hot off the grill
and then there is the mystical wtf of white castle or krystal burger...you can buy them in the freezer isle and they taste exactly the same. there is this weird cult about that shit.
5 guys burgers and fries is pretty good, not exactly fast food but close enough
I just ate at Arctic Circle last weekend, down in Newport. Very good indeed. I guess there's one in McMinnville still as well. It was nostalgic. I grew up right by an Arctic Circle on Lombard when I was a kid.
This is fucking basketball, not geeky, lame soccer......
You're a snob.
