According to ESPN, Houston is looking to get into the lottery. Perhaps Portland could get a lottery pick, then turn that pick into Brooks. Frankly, I think Brooks is probably at least as good as anyone in this draft so I don't think Portland looses much.
He is the kind of quick guard that is at a premium in today's NBA.
I have no idea if it is possible, but if it were should Portland give it a shot?
As for me, I would do it if it only cost Portland either Outlaw or Blake + Sergio and a lottery pick. Probably wouldn't do it for both even though I don't like either player, but I would think about it.
