Who is your favorite player currently and all time? Why
Frazier and Ariza. Walt Frazier was the definition of fundamental basketball and you can learn a lot from listening to him. Also he?s funny and you can learn from his vocabulary. Ariza is very exciting and has a great future. He?s hard working, and who doesn?t want to watch a 19 year old dunk on established NBA vets?


Favorite Knicks game this season and all time?
This season it was against the 76ers. Down by 19 in the 4th quarter, we made an exciting rally and also we had Houston with that game tying 3 with 0.4 left. In OT we kept on the league and had that funny JYD stuff. Quite a game for a Knick fan. All time I have a lot. 1999 Game 5 against Heat, Game 3 Pacers, 2003 NYK@LAL. Those are my ALL time favorites but, there are tons more that I really love just not at the all-time level.

I?d rather be good for the 30 years. The regular season success and even playoff success except in the finals is more exciting to 1 championship a while ago.

Currently: Mike Sweetney, he does so much off the bench and doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
All-Time: Patrick Ewing, he is one of the greatest centers ever and he did so much for this team. We haven't had someone like him since.

Who is your favorite player currently and all time?

Currently: Crawford or Ariza. Jamal because he has a sweet outside shot and doesnt shout his mouth off all the time and Ariza because he has got all round great game and is a star for the future.

All time: Latrell Sprewell. When I first started getting heavily into the Knicks he WAS the team. His attitude, charisma and guard play was amazing to watch and I like how he didn't take any sh!t from anyone.

This season: @Cleveland. Nah just playing

Trevor Ariza rebound dunk when nobody was picking him up. Can't remember what game but it was a week or so ago.

No!!! Any NBA player is clearly a much better basketball player than the average guy and the salaries are ridiculous. Even if I was the worst player in the league I still wouldn't trade that!

I've always been a huge Penny Hardaway fan. He was such a great player, no one else comes close to him.

This season: Allan Houston's shot to send it to OT in Philadelphia. It was great to see him back and make shots that only he can make.
All time: John Starks dunk against the bulls

Now that is tough, very tough. I would go with hanging with Penny Hardaway, it would mean more to me. I could go watch the NBA Finals next year, even if it's not in Madison Square Garden, it would still be sweet.

Patrick Ewing, the greatest player to wear a New York Knicks uniform. Great player, could score, rebound, block, lead a team etc ... he was truly a genuwine inside presence. I would take Patrick Ewing.

Marv Albert. It is if his voice is implanted in my head.

Allan Houston. Latrell Sprewell is too inconsistent, and Allan Houston can spread a teams defense more. He's a better scorer than Latrell Sprewell, and can drop 50pts if he gets warm. Also as much as I like Latrell Sprewell, he has a temper problem, I wouln't want that in a locker room.

?99 Knicks or ?94 Knicks?
1994 New York Knicks. They would destory the '99 New York Knicks, they had solid inside presence, solid rebounders, strong defenders, scorers and came alot closer to winning a championship than the '99 group.
Overall as a unit, it's not even close one team is clearly better than the other. Though the duo of Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell was nice, but still not a chance.

mrj18 is truly a New York Knicks fan. It is that obvious, I mean he makes great previews, spends so much time with them and they look and read great. Does a great job there, and to go to all that effort to a team which is under-achieving is quite a statement to him, in the sense of his loyalty to his team, nice job mrj18.
Guys like him, Knicks Analyst, BobbyEscobar, Tribute to H2O really demonstrate loyalty to their team, which is great to see.

I guess I'm a little late but I'll post up my answers here anyway since I am a die hard Knicks fan.

Who is your favorite player currently and all time? Why?
Allan Houston would be favorite player of all time with Bernard King a close second. I had always liked his game. He was more of a jumpshoote rather than a slashing type of basketball player and his jumpshot was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in basketball. But I really started liking Houston during the '99 playoffs. His heroics during the playoffs made him my one of my favorite players. The fact that he was considered nothing more then a sidekick to Sprewell, even though he was more consistent and produced more than him, made him my favorite player of all time.

Favorite Knicks game this season and all time?
The game against Philly. The Knicks showed amazing heart to get back in it and the second unit really stepped up. As for all time...I dont know. There are so many. Game 5 against the Heat, Games 2 or 6 in the series against the Pacers in 1999, the game where Houston earned his contract after he made Kobe and Shaq look like extras on one of his highlight reels. These are my all time favorite games. I just cant pick one.

That's a tough one. I dont know. I'd like to have the championship but I dont want to be bad for 29 years. I'll take the good for 30 years.

Best Knicks play this season and all time? Why?The best Knicks play this season would have to be the game at Philly when Houston sent the game into overtime. He got the ball in the corner pumpfaked the defender didnt fall for it so he just took the shot and hit it. He ran to the bench nodding his head in satisfaction. It was vintage H20 back to hitting big shots.
As for All Time...maybe when Bernard King rose above 3 or 4 bigs to dunk a missed shot in a playoff series against Isiah Thomas and his Pistons.

Worst Knick game this season?
It's a throw up between the home opener and the Mavericks game. You shouldnt open up at your home with that kind of performance...ever. If you do you have to pick up some flagrant fouls in the process to keep the crowd entertained. As for the Mavericks game, the opposing team should not be bored with the game before halftime. Again if they are you have to hurt one of their players.

Clyde obviously, he's more entertaining to listen to. "The closer he gets to the basket, the more baffled he becomes."

Houston! He hit more big shots and was more consistent and productive than Sprewell. Houston was more efficent than Sprewell on a night in and night out basis. Sprewell was just more charismatic that's all.

Another tough one. Houston's shot started the Knicks miraculous run but LJ's shot was the pinnacle of the Knicks run. I'll say Houston's shot since he's my favorite player and he since he was fouled on the play but there was no call.
