Anybody know how he gets his raw video footage? I never see any score or network graphics in any of his videos which adds a lot to cinematic feel?

If you look real close he actually reenacts the game with Lego people.

It looks to me like he zooms in a lot, but then again while watching I also was thinking that he had some raw video to work with somehow. Heck he might work for the NBA as a video guy who knows.

seems like maybe nbatv feeds based on the few i have seen, no stats, and he can get both commentators by going to each feed

Can you provide a link for this want to share this with friends who couldn't see game?

There is no reason Max shouldn't be doing this professionally... if he isn't already.

Updated the first post with links and another fucking amazing video.

He emailed me last night thru MB asking for our raw footage. I had no access to it til tomorrow in the TV truck, he said no sweat he got a ton of it from trailblazers.tv/com

You guys need to give him a job.

I'm in live broadcasting, that's post production. They do use AVID editors, he should apply.

If I remember correctly, the Blazers did have him make a video a few years ago before the playoffs for the Pioneer Sq. pre-playoff fest.

You've got your own show, you're "the talent", you should have the pull to get him a job!

He makes some really compelling videos. Always fun to see his dramatic re-makes!

I remember that video at the playoff rally in Pioneer Square. If I remember correctly, MB said that the Maxamillion guy sent him a link to this video on MB's blog. MB then asked if could use it at the rally and Max said yes. So it wasn't like the Blazers hired him to produce that video.

What I'm wondering is why he didn't make one for the Batum game winning shot against the Spurs.

HAHA! Ya right. I like seeing pieces like this. Takes a lot of work to put that stuff together. What I do is different. Mine aren't as polished and finished as a post production piece. I'm cutting mine during the game. While I'm showing replays and running promos and stuff.

man i dont think he hit rim the whole quarter, holy shit, my heart is smiling!

Yeah it was pretty amazing. Last night, I thought there couldn't be anything he could miss. Even that three at the end, I thought was going in.

Max is a pro. Or at least he should get paid like one. His vids are always epic.

Max is super talented. I was friends with him and his brother in high school, both are complete video editing nerds. Last I heard they both went to L.A. to work in the film industry.

but he has a super unhealthy obsession with Vince Carter

Prime Vince Carter was a treat to watch. I understand all the people who dislike him due to the way he tanked his way out of Toronto, but I can easily see why he'd have major fans of his play.
