Let the season begin! Televised on KGW, the Blazers embark on a new season with a road game against the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix recently traded away their starting center for an injured Emeka Okafor. The Morris twin duo is missing a Markieff due to suspension. Goran Dragic is the only starter to have played all of last year with the Suns. PJ Tucker and Shannon Brown also played all of last year with the Suns. Bad teams always play better at home, but Portland figures to be a heavy favorite with a great chance of starting the season with a road win. Projected starters with 2012-13 stats:

I'm pretty excited for this game, we've been waiting basically over 7 months since they Blazers had a meaningful game and now its going to be here the day after tomorrow! How will the new additions play? How will our defense look? What kind of sophomore improvement will Lillard show us? Its all 48 hours away!
