Even as a non-superstar, the referees still won't allow defenders to guard Shaq. All clear-outs and shoulder drives by Shaq are allowed, while any force applied by the defender is called a foul.

Oden looked good against Shaq. His difficulties with Shaq so far only showed that if you have a 350 lbs body to push past defenders, referees will allow you to do it.

Roy has been shooting the tech free throws for the past 2 games. I wonder if Nate decided this or maybe Blake.

Uh oh. 6 point deficit now. Wow, great find by Roy to Joel for the slam.

Get out Sideshow Bob, don't put up that weak crap against the Thrilla

Fantastic rejection by Joel. He's been a beast this year. Love it.

Aldridge looks awesome when his shot is falling, heh. ;)

A bit obvious, of course.

AND WOW, what a rebound and dunk by LA!

Holy cow. Lamarcus with the putback dunk. Sweet!

Outlaw's has been nearly invisible these past several games. Did he catch what Frye has?

When was Ike in? How did I miss that?

Not yet, but he will

Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan announced a minor tweak to his player rotation Thursday night, saying he would elevate Ike Diogu into the team's backup power forward spot against the Phoenix Suns.

Diogu will replace Channing Frye, who has struggled in recent games, in what will be his first opportunity in the rotation this season. Through the Blazers' first 26 games, Diogu has not played in 15 of them and has logged just 36 total minutes.

"It's pretty exciting," Diogu said. "I finally get a chance to go out there and show people what I can do. I feel like I have been working really hard and now I just have to take advantage because you don't know when it's going to happen again."

McMillan said the move was made in part because Diogu has earned the opportunity during practice, but also admitted that part of the decision came because of Frye's struggles.

In the Blazers' last 10 games, Frye, who is averaging 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds on the season, has scored 19 points and is shooting just 28.6 percent (8 of 28) from the field. He's made just three field goals in the last six games.

Yeah I hate seeing Outlaw in before Rudy, even if they do have Richardson and Hill on the wing. Rudy'd make 'em work on offense more than they'd have an advantage against him on d.

When was Ike in the game?? I just rewound, didn't see him. LMA never came out, did he?

I didn't say Ike got in, but he's going to get the backup PF minutes over Channing according to Nate in the pregame.

That Stoudemire dunk was nasty. Poor Joel.

Terrific hook by Aldridge.

Aldridge is on tonight.
