OT A March For Their Lies

Welcome to our community

You're selling them short. You're not giving them enough credit. Stop underestimating them.

Children no matter the generation are too stupid to think for themselves.

Only thing I can think of is the posters on this website who believe this where never afforded the opportunity to think for them self.
Or they didn't care to think for them self.
Both of which can be completely true, especially when you talk to older generations.

My mother says all the time. 'What were we thinking by letting you kids think for yourselves'.
I tell her, 'You were giving us an opportunity you were never afforded as a child'.

Yes nobody will be talking about it. If they are, fantastic. I would like to be proven wrong but like I said, give it a week. After a week you can message me and tell me how wrong I was and I will say yes bones I was terribly wrong on that

Haven’t they been talking about it since the 17 kids were killed? Haven’t we been watching these same kids speak throughout the past month? You been out of the country or something?

I don't watch the news honestly. However I kinda have seen the same kids faces who have been talking about it since the shooting on twitter. My point was, one of the kids made this march a date about a month before or whatever. That David hogg kid has been saying some crazy things. I just think this is your typical protest that comes and goes and nobody says anything about it in a week, however I am willing to be wrong on that and hope I am.

My point is parents support their kids. We shouldn't think that's a weird thing, nor should we sell these kids short when it comes to their infinite wisdom.

Honestly, try raising one of these kids. He asked me:

"Papa, how can I change the world?"

When he was 5.

What has he seen in 5 years that he thinks needs changed, and what makes him have the wherewithal or even the audacity to think he can change it??

My child is a forward thinker. He starts sentences with, "When I'm president".

I will never sell him short.

I teach kids four salient things -

1. Safety comes first;

2. Learn the difference between morality and ethics. That'll get you a good start in life;

3. Exercise your brain and it will get stronger just like physical exercise makes your muscles grow stronger;

4. Highly successful people have four common characteristics:
1) They get regular physical exercise;
2) They help others. This can not be part of a profession such as a psychiatrist, teacher or counselor. Try mentoring or being a scout leader, ;
3) They have a highly developed sense of spirituality. While this is religious for many of us, it is not religious for others. It might be a simple awe at the wonders of nature or the stars;
4) They have a life long pursuit of improved mental health.

I urge you to consider these factors when mentoring your child.

I am an idiot now, okay dope I am happy I can be an idiot for you sir

lol, and here in proves you're not as bright as you think you are. The idiot comment was about trump, but if you want to put yourself in that category, then by all means go ahead and do so. :smack:

I think regular physical exercise is HUGE. I work out 5 times a week and it is a major key when it comes to just feeling good. When those endorphins fire off it's something else. Good for the mind too.

That's because Bodyman is probably the most intelligent one on this thread to be honest. No over reaction from him because guess what? there are more important things in life to get upset about then a mellow opinion you disagree with and he understands that. Maybe some of you need to go through more shit in life, grow up a bit then come back to me and tell me how my opinion really has you tilted.

Now that was funny and concerning all in one.

Couldn't agree more. I also use to work out 5 days a week. It put me in a really good mood, too. Loved to chat with my fellow gym members in the locker room. In my gym they ranged from 18 to 88. Although I used to do circuit weight training which meant reps of 15 to 30. I managed to work my way up to benching 260 and doing 560 on the leg press while I weighed 180. I worked out 2 1/2 hrs. a day and worked every muscle in my body. Now, it's all I can do to get grom one room to another. Taking a shower is exhausting. Why? Because I turned down my father's offer to go to Canada to live instead of going overseas to that war.

Geez, I got off track. Back then I never felt better. It's a high I can recommend to everyone.

nah dude, this is the jam for that

Love that song. When I used to work out at the Portland YMCA's Metro Fitness Center on Barbur, during the workout they instructor would occasionally play that song and we'd all go nuts trying to outdo each other. Great times.

Kinky.

A little disturbing

but kinky.

I know, sounds crazy right? he is smart guy and if I haven't developed a man crush on him I probably would say he sucks. No but really though, I think he is pretty good at being neutral and that's tough to come across these days as more and more opinions already have a right or left view on them and refuse to look at the situation fair and square

I learned I just fucked up by going against this cult. I shouldn't of commented. It's very clear this OT section rolls with one opinion. It's super liberal.

There are quite a few conservatives on here. You've misdiagnosed the origin of your problems.
