My opinion is that allowing huge sigs, and many of them, really destroys a forum. I don't want to scroll down for several seconds just to see the next post in the thread. Even if someone is proud of their sigs (which in most cases they didn't make themselves), then there should be some sort of art gallery where you can put up your pictures so that the people who want to see them can (but us who don't won't have to).

I understand what you are saying.

At the same time we don't want to limit the creativity of people.

As Swish pointed out, we are not bound by existing software, but can write our own. I think we can figure out a solution (ignore user(s), ignore sig(s)) or something down the line.

Denny Crane and the other programmers are very diligent where things are worked on, on a daily basis. They keep a log of the changes.

Agreed. Having a gambit of options users can have access to is the best solution. It's hard to please everyone so the best way to accomplish it is by allowing the user the control to set it the way they want. The more customizable the better the experience.

There should still be limitations, as sometimes sigs can be nice to add depth to a forum, but having to scroll through masses of them is ridiculous.

JustBBall is leaving. This is the site I came to know and love. I was here all the time, learning and becoming an active memeber. It is gunna be wird to be somewhere else, so I want to say good bye to the old JustBBall and hello to the new one. It was good times here

This is one of the greatest moments of my life. I can't remember being so excited about something in all of my existence.

I really can't wait for the two sites to merge, it's going to be awesome!

The good times will continue though. We've changed the skin on this board before and nothing changed. Think about it like that. Just because the colors and stuff are changing, doesn't mean the community and members are. We'll still have great discussion, an even better board that doesn't limit us, and more tools to become the best sports site on the net. The SportsTwo basketball section will be called JustBBall so really, our name isn't even changing. If JBB was shutting down and we all had nowhere to go, then it'd be time to say goodbye. Now though, we're all gonna stick together and make this merger a successful one and the only changes that are being made are for the better. We can either let JBB die or make our site better than ever, it's in our hands.

Exactly how I feel about it. This will be our most dramatic change, but I'm excited we have the resources available to finally take JBB to the next level. It will free up a lot more time for me to be active in areas like writing and marketing again. I've been having to push back my daily blog for almost a year because something breaks or the way I want it displayed isn't compatible with vBulletin or Wordpress. Then I lose my motivation to write the blog. Now all of the setbacks we've dealing with get put to rest.

I think change will be good, but I'll still miss the old JBB. There are a lot of active members already on Sportstwo, so it will be different. But in the end, the change is for the better.

Btw, I'm still confused on the BBW posters. I checked out the site and members from BBW have special custom titles with BBW in them. If we post on Sportstwo, the guys on BBW will be able to see our posts right?

Nah I dont like that idea, cause then you have everyone changing their user name 2-3 times a week, it becomes confusing. It should stay somthing you have to request a admin to change.

Another thing I'd like to see, is some sort of graphic up on the banner, where the calender / clock is, looks very plain at the moment, and if it wernt for the name of the website, I wouldnt even know it was a sports website.

I dont really think its necessary for the clock / date, when every single computer user has the date / time in the right hand corner of their screen at all times.

I think the change is good. I mean we all still would talk to each other and now the website is expanding to other members as well. So it's like if a bunch of new members signed up at the same time. It's gonna be more active at least.
