agreed, she is an idiot. All this series reboot did for me was destroy a childhood favorite memory. At least most of her costars are pretty famous in their own right by now.

It was pretty disappointing actually. There was just enough nostalgia to make it last a few seasons though. They tried to tackle the issues of today but the jokes came out lame, white washed and one dimensional. They really missed the mark big time, Roseannes antics was the nail in n the coffin.

I don't think anyone would. I would point out that she deleted it and apologized relatively quickly, but that doesn't make the tweet itself any less reprehensible. But I also don't think it's unreasonable to suspect that a comparable tweet that was anti-white and anti-male would receive similar response, either from the public or the networks. I understand the network's decision, and probably would even do the same in their position, but more because of the presumed financial impact rather than because "she doesn't represent our values".
