A baby inside a mother is different than drinking and driving. Get a good idea when someone is raped? What if you pass out or are drugged and are impregnated?
 
I honestly do not know. Believe it or not, I do not have all the answers.

Almost anymore wanting an abortion could make an excuse as to how it happened...if abortion were banned and the rape clause put in it would be a mess.
 
I just think that thinking about the woman's rights (who, more than likely is at fault for being pregnant) over the innocent babies rights is rather silly.
 
BCB you're just wrong. They have no right to allow a mother to kill a child when that living being has no say in the matter. It's murder and that's all there is to it.

That's stupid that you base your whole argument on the fact that it's in her body. It's a human being, and killing it is murder. It has nothing to do with whether it's inside her or not.Also, with the exception of rape it's in her body because of something she did, she should have to pay the consequences and give birth to it. Even if she got raped I don't see why she can't just give birth to the child and then put it up for adoption. Yes it was awful that she got raped and I would completely understand that she would want to get rid of it, but at least give birth to it and then put it up for adoption, give the child a chance.

I'm sorry that killing babies isn't a big deal to you. Too bad your mother didn't have an abortion.
 
Because of the Iraq war thousands of babies will die from miscarrage and deformaties due to us using Plutonium in our shell's there.
 
imo, abortion should only be aloud if 1. having the baby will be life-threatining or 2.you are raped or sexually assualted and did not want the baby in the first place
 
Well they can't impose regulations like that for reasons previously stated, so I think it's better to make it illegal then to make it legal, taking those circumstances into considerations. It makes more sense to force a few women to give birth to babies when they don't want to then to kill even more babies when there's no reason why the mother can't give birth.
 
Ok, i was talking to my grandmother about this, and she made a really good point. She doesnt believe in abortion, but only under this circumstance. Incest. Like if the father of the child is the woman's father, brother, or something like that. I think that would be the only circumstance i can see having an abortion would be the right thing to do.

My grandmother is a nurse so i believe she knows what she is talking about. She has worked in mental hospitals that have had cases with this type of <Censored>. I dont think you know what the <Censored> your talkin about. Btw, incest is against the law just like rape. By your standards its ok to abort a baby that was an effect of rape, but not one that was an effect of incest??!?! A "rape" baby is going to have the mental capablity to have a regular life. One from incest isn't. I dont understand your reasoning.

If i was playing God i would say its okay abort any baby you dont want and not let them have a chance to live.
