New York (CNN) A federal judge on Monday dismissed President Donald Trump's effort to prevent his tax returns from being turned over to a New York grand jury.

The ruling raises the likelihood that Trump's tax returns will be provided in response to the subpoena, although any material obtained through a grand jury subpoena is covered by grand jury secrecy rules, meaning it would likely become public only if it were used as evidence at a trial.

Dismissing Trump's "extraordinary" claim that any occupant of the White House enjoys "absolute immunity from criminal process of any kind," US District Court Judge Victor Marrero said in a 75-page opinion that such a position "would constitute an overreach of executive power."

The Luxor is beautiful but their buffet is not good. Never been to the 4Queens.
Best buffet used to be at the Mirrage. In more recent times the buffet has gone way down hill but it was still decent the last time we were there.
Do now go to the buffet at Vegas World. Even their hotel rooms didn't seem that nice. Our room was actually dirty. You could see stuff on the floor of our room and on the floor of the elevators.

Nobody's tax returns should ever be seen by anyone other than the IRS. That's the law in general and the IRS would have a hard time getting anyone to file if it were not the law.

If there was a crime apparent in his tax returns, it would have been reported by the IRS and prosecuted long ago.

I'm not sure the IRS can prosecute a crime unless it involves criminal activity regarding incorrect reporting of taxable income. I know that drug criminals are not prosecuted by the IRS unless they don't report their illicit income.
