Thanks for this public service, Sly. We Portlanders must find this bad tulip cropsharer in Mt. Vernon.

I bet someone catches him because Sly so earnestly warned us.

Reading comments on twitter you need to be on the look out for all Mexican, Cuban, Muslim, Arabic and Native American men. You should see of Maris has any room in the bunker.

Reading more comments on twitter if the shooter is muslim, arabic or Mexican, Trump wins the election.

Not sure who wins if the shooter is native American.

Now watch...Canada will build a wall and make the US pay for it

The young Hispanic man headed for the freeway a few feet away. On the other side are small farms (the tulip ones try to garner tourists) full of summer temps from Mexico. Their kids, and this looks like one, go to Burlington High School 2 miles away. There's no place to hide around the mall or the farms. I expect the high school to recognize him from the clear picture.

Supposedly this is the shooter who they just captured.

I don't think you can really tell much from that guy's Twitter account.

Other that HE'S WITH HER. How deplorable.

People got it from his other social media accounts. There are a bunch of stuff coming out now, they didn't scrub them...yet.

Idaho’s new law for carrying concealed weapons went into affect a couple of months ago. It has been very peaceful since then.

The new concealed weapons law allows almost anyone to carry a concealed weapon, almost anywhere, at anytime. You must be at least 18 years old, with no felony record. You can not carry in a court house, and somewhere else I can not remember at this time.

The new clothing style in Idaho is to not tuck your shirt in. That way, no one can tell if you are carrying concealed or not, even in the summer months.

The only reason I bring this up. If a shooter, like the idiot that is the subject of this thread, tried an in-store shooting in Idaho, he would look like swish cheese after a couple of shots. Some of the most accurate shooters in Idaho are women, many of them carry concealed. And they practice a lot.

Many of the people in Idaho, including women, grew up with guns. They learned how to safely and accurately shoot guns at an early age. So Idaho’s new law probably would not work as well in WA OR & CA states.

It is almost funny how respectful everyone is to each other in Idaho since this new law went into affect. Everyone suspects everyone else of carrying concealed, and many are.

I like this new law; I feel much safer in Idaho than I do in WA State where only the bad guys, and the cops that can’t shoot straight, have guns. I would also bet my neighbor’s 18 year old daughter could out-shoot 90% of the WA state LEOs.

Its almost as if there's an inverse relationship between gun control laws and gun violence.

"An armed society, is a polite society"

Eventually it's going to be like the movie Brazil. The violence will be so bad all around us and people will have so much familiarity with it...... that it will barely register. Guns will go off while we have lunch. "Oh. That's so nice darling!"

And Brazil has some very strict gun control laws!

This is an interesting case. How long have you had this "I Don't Get No Respect" syndrome? Since childhood?

What'd I tell you. You can't hide around here. He's 1 year out of high school, Oak Harbor H.S. He was busted outside his house in Oak Harbor, near Mt. Vernon and Burlington. He didn't walk; he simply drove his car away from the mall, which is 25 minutes south of me. I drove past it a week ago. Haven't been inside for about 15 years, but I noted it's still the color white, same as when they built it in 1990. Not much news around here. Still white. I lived about 2 miles from it back then.

His family legally immigrated from a big city in Turkey across the border from Syria. Mystery...cameras show he walked through the mall entrance without a rifle, but 10 minutes later walked within the mall into the former Bon Marche, now Macy's, entrance with it. He left his rifle on the cosmetics counter, where vain women congregate with a rare man towed in (I have stood there patiently).

As usual, British media was more detailed and current than American media, even local media like the Seattle Times. British media says that he has a minor mental health history, and that one woman who died was an Everett probation officer. Since she's police, she was armed, which extinguishes the NRA theory that if the women had been armed, they'd still be alive. It's obvious to everyone except the NRA that victims can't react fast enough. A shooter doesn't give you a second, much less a minute, to make the momentous decision to shoot him, pull out your gun, arm it, and aim so as to miss a Macy's crowd.

It all started on my first visit to Oregon, when I was told I was too dumb to pump my own gas.
