Damn, that's a nice Stag! People should pay attention to the Active Shooters articles as well.

Me personally, I prefer the magazine Combat Handguns. And I'm a great admirer and study of Massad Ayoob. I've spoken with him on several occasion, and I have many of his books. He's a bastion of wisdom.

You don't get to decide who shuts up and goes away.

Muhahahahahaha!

lol, well, YOU'RE not doing anything about it!

;)

Hey folks, I'm going off to eat, then I'm going to have a cigar. I'll see you back here in the basketball thread for tonight's game.

Really? And how much gun control is enough? Go find a gun shop in the Bay Area, California, and ask them what Gun Control has done for their businesses, and what the average citizen has to go through to own a gun in that state. It's fucking rediculous.

In my opinion, you cannot be for both. You just can't. I refuse to believe that a smart person would be for regulations of the very thing they own. And, in my opinion, you cannot completely respect nor understand the 2nd Amendment unless you're a gun owner. And I've personally yet to meet one gun owner that's EVER been for any kind of gun control.

You've just met one. Don't kid yourself, there are plenty of us.

Ah, but see: you used emotion and unnecessary fear to whine about something. He used logic and reason to debate a topic. And I responded in kind.

All you have is stupid straw-man arguments and emotion from MSM outlets and Liberals. That doesn't fly here. You want to DEBATE using logic and reason, then do so. Otherwise, shut up and go away.

So it's okay to be told to shut up in the forum? That's not a personal attack? Regardless of what you think is going to happen there is going to be some gun safety legislation that passes. You better keep voting for your Republican buddies. News flash the NRA doesn't give a shit about you or your right to own firearms. They only care about the gun manufacturers that they lobby for.

Are they doing the #dontnametheshooter hashtag or not displaying his picture on the news?

sent from a phone you've probably never heard of

Says who? Michael Bloomberg? Diane Feinstein?

We have hundreds of millions of guns in this country. Every day, thousands buy and sell guns legally across this country.

Yet, how many "mass shootings" has the media reported this week?

One. And only 3 died.

How many black people kill each other every day in Anti-Gun Chicago?

The "no guns = less crime" myth is just that: a myth. Perpetrated by racist democrats.

Only three died... 12 people got shot dude. 12... Just because only three of them died doesn't mean it's not a mass shooting... Only a gun nut would spin it as only 3 people dying... Shame on you... that easily could have been someone that you knew that was killed.

Notice they're not reporting how many lives he saved. Damn liberal media.

err, it is already illegal to hunt game from and Aircraft in Oregon. I don't know why someone would like to see federal legislation making it illegal from a specific kind of Aircraft.

Drones aren't classified as aircraft.

Planned Parenthood Shooting Suspect Made Comment About 'No More Baby Parts': Sources

The day after a gunman killed three people and shot nine others at a Colorado Planned Parenthood office, officials tell NBC News a motive remains unclear, but say the suspect talked about politics and abortion.

Robert Lewis Dear, a North Carolina native who was living in a trailer in Colorado, made statements to police Friday at the scene of the Colorado Springs clinic and in interviews that law enforcement sources described as rantings.

In one statement, made after the suspect was taken in for questioning, Dear said "no more baby parts" in reference to Planned Parenthood, two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case told NBC News.

There's not one person on the planet that's not in the military who needs a killing machine like that.

I don't believe there's ever ever ever been a case of even one person being shot or killed with this weapon.

Sure. It's only been in circulation for a little over a year. Nice strawman.

The straw man is arguing these guns are a huge risk. The vast vast majority of shootings are done with handguns. The number of rifle shootings is in the tens.

I think this weapon is a police one anyway. Used to hunt black men on the streets and evict people who can't afford their rent (thanks Obama!).

In context.

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/fir...-planned-parenthood-after-shooting-at-clinic/

Speaking to reporters in Newton, Iowa, Mr. Cruz said “we don’t fully know the motivations of this deranged individual” in the shooting, which killed three people and wounded nine.

Mr. Cruz added, without prompting, that the suspected gunman, Robert L. Dear Jr., was “registered to vote as a woman.” He suggested that there was “very little evidence” tying the shooting to anti-abortion sentiment, a cause frequently invoked by Mr. Cruz and his fellow Republicans in the presidential primary.

When a reporter cited news reports that Mr. Dear had said “no more baby parts” after he was apprehended, Mr. Cruz replied, “Well, it’s also reported that he was registered as an independent and as a woman and a transgender leftist activist.”

Cruz is just spinning it to sound like it's not from a right wing "activist".

They can't have it both ways, either the left is all about abortions at all costs, or they're gun toting transgendered leftists who shoot people

Seems like the spin is to take his quote out of context and suggest he meant something else entirely.

I'm no fan of the guy, but he may as well have said, "it's also been reported that he's an extraterrestrial" if that was reported on the internet somewhere.

He was dismissing both "no more baby parts" and "transgender" equally, it seems to me.
