He seems like a really nice guy, but he's got to be the worst broadcaster/interviewer. He's so spasmatic and goes off tangent all the time. Why did the Blazers hire this guy? Really not easy to watch.

+1. I'll give him time to get comfortable, but he stumbles all over himself too often. I don't watch much of pregame/halftime anyways, so it's not a big issue.

I disagree. I think he's doing a good job. Much better than the guy they had host previously (cant remember his name - Tony?)
TP and Holton are great!

Stumbles, more like trips, falls and rolls down a flight of stairs.

Better than hearing this guy

and Holten say

"What do we have?!?"

"A basketball game!"

Bjaranson > Luftman.

You're not getting Bob Costas for this gig.

i dont think he has bad broadcasting skills i just dont think he knows anything about basketball

He came to us from Memphis. He now lives down in LA and has been doing a bunch of acting on TV...... Desperate Houswives, 24 ,CSI. Was up here last month to visit, he is doing great down there!

Bjaranson is terrible. Knows nothing about basketball and messes his words up almost every sentence.

^ This. He is a mediocre broadcaster, but he just doesn't have much knowledge for basketball. He is an improvement over last year, though. That was brutal. I just don't really watch the half-time report anymore.

Besides for Michael Holton we seem to have new people every year. And now that he has moved to the sideline reporting and really knows his basketball "obviously", since he was a college coach, I think he will move on to bigger and better things in broadcasting. Does anyone know if the basketball analysis or the sideline reporting pays better? Rebecca Harlow sucked IMO, and she seemed to land a better job in a larger market.
