Kathryn Adelman Naro, a member of one of Oregon's most prominent coaching families, has resigned from Jesuit High School after her second drunken driving arrest in less than a year, according to police and school reports.

Adelman Naro, the daughter of Rick Adelman, a former Portland Trail Blazers player and coach, was first arrested Sept. 26, 2008, on accusations of careless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office................

I've read a few times that Rick Adelman no matter where he's coached, Portland, Scatown & Houston, keeps a keg of beer on tap in his office.

At first I thought that was cool, now seeing the problems his kids have with alcohol... not so much.

Canzano lambasted Adelman's son for his DUI.

I never knew that Rick had a daughter who had one DUI, and just got another. I would have thought Canzano would have had 3 articles on this fact by now.

Great job, John Canzano! Way to get to the bottom of it issue (when it suits your storyline).

Didn't Adelmans son get into some trouble recently too?

Good LORD she is NASTY!!!!!!!!1

I don't think she was really concerned about her looks at the time..

She actually is a very nice person . . . she does have drinking issues, but I don't think labeling her as a loser meth head is fair.

i had a crush on her when she was a coach at larry steele basketball camp when i was in Jr. high ( i think she was playing for U o P at the time).

i remember hearing her dad got sloshed alot (i lived down the road from them and my friends said like on hollidays he would get really wasted). maybe they have alcoholism in the fam or something

I went to UP for a short while with the other daughter, Laura. She was really cool, and not the party girl type. Perhaps if I hadn't been playing DND with HCP so much, something might've sparked...
