There is going to be some great football today. Looking forward to both games.

Are we gonna run a Hawks/Niners game thread? I look forward to Nate's reaction to the officials in real-time, rather than after the fact.

I figured we'd use this as the game thread for both games.

Yep. Brady vs Manning. Pete Carrol vs Jim Harbaugh. Great storylines waiting to happen.

Prediction:
Superbowl XLVIII: Broncos vs Seahawks

It would be nice to see Paul Allen win a super bowl.

I odn't know what Champ Bailey has left in the tank. Which is interesting--if DEN sells out to stop Blount and the run, that leaves Champ a bit exposed.

Did you see how 5 Omaha companies pitched in to give Peyton's charity $700 each time he says "Omaha"? They said that if it's like last week, it'll be about 30k.

No, I missed that. That's funny.

This says $500 per, but ESPN said it was up to $700.

That links to an Omaha World-Herald report from Michael Kelly, who bears the great news that five Omaha-area companies will team up to donate $500 for every mention of the Nebraska city during the playoff proceedings between the Broncos and Patriots on Sunday.

This idea is reportedly the brainchild of Omaha Steaks' public relations staff. The other companies participating are ConAgra Foods, First National Bank of Omaha, Mutual of Omaha and Union Pacific.

Thanks to these companies, each Omaha means $500 to the PeyBack Foundation—Manning's charitable organization that is dedicated to promoting "the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk."

If the NFC refs let Seattle get away with the defensive "handling" that NE is getting away with, it's going to be a long day for the 49ers and Nate might have a stroke.

Nate is protesting the game due to Seattle's illegal stadium.

Peyton is carving up the Patriots

Oh shit Wilson with the boneheaded play!!!
