after 12 games

Welcome to our community

After 12 games last year 6-6, One game out of first place, run differential minus 6
After 12 games this year, 6-6, One game out of first place, run differential plus 8...

They've also scored 18 more runs at this point compared to last year.
Encouraging.....certainly better than crying the blues being 3 games out after FIVE games.

Its amazing what posts you avoid, which one's you respond to & which ones you find the need to bring back from the dead after several days.

It really is a miracle that you haven't at the least dislocated your shoulder with all the patting you do on your own back. Sadly through a VERY selective memory.
You seriously might want to consider finding another forum to display your utter stupidity And your constant self indulgence is sickening.

I do want to thank you though for your daily comic relief, it is the one thing you actually do well. Keep em laughing Bob.

Know what's funny, your need to sing the blues after the first FIVE games....talk about the need for attention! Lmao

Comedy indeed....I'm trying to find a reason to pat you on the back......maybe you can repeat how many games you expect the Yanks to win. That would be nice.

...3rd time, sorry you didn't get the answer you were looking for...guess you'd rather not talk about it...it's OK...I can certainly understand why.

...laughable that you keep pointing to people gauging this team after "the first five games" as if that's when the doubts began. The fact is that it actually started well before the season even began...but you already knew that, didn't you?

...lol...if the records are identical, the run differential or the number of runs scored doesn't really matter, does it?

You really need help...........I know your ability to comprehend things really sucks but try to pay attention here. Hey it may even help if you read R E A L L Y, R E A L L Y SLOOOOOOW. Here goes,

After 5 games I posted the averages of the starting players & I made the observations that the team was leading the league in errors & had a 199 team batting average & a 290 OBP. Now I guess in your world that would be considered SINGING THE BLUES. But with normal people it wouldn't be. But I'll just chalk this up to Bob being Bob. And laugh along with everyone else.

Continuing along with your comedic mentality you suggest that maybe I can repeat how many games the Yankees will win. This coming from a guy who repeats the same dumb arguments over & over & over & CONSTANTLY brings up how the team will win 90 or more games.

As comical as I find the fact that you appear to be really starved for attention you may want to remember this, "Sometimes its better to remain silent & have others just THINK you're an idiot, then to open up your mouth & remove all doubt". I've never seen anyone in more need of this advice than you.

After 5 games. lol

So , how many games do you think this bunch of Cashman trash will win?

Or are you just hanging on the fence waiting to beat your chest in either case?

Okay its official.................................................................................................................you've removed all doubt.

Okay, I'll play along. If a team can somehow manage to make the playoffs with a minus run differential, more power to them....but it better be a miniscule difference.

How many teams qualified for the playoffs last year with a minus run differential?
Just curious.

...uhhh...how many teams somehow managed to qualify for the playoffs last year with a .500 record, dumbass?...again, other than you, who places more value on run differential than wins?

...the Yanx' meaningless current +8 run differential is a purely skewed result from a lopsided and anomalous 14-4 win over the Sox and a 9-0 win over the Rays...but you knew that too, didn't you?

Like I said, all doubt has been removed. The only thing he hasn't removed is that "KICK ME" sign on his back.

This has already been answered, try & keep up will you.

Says the guy who created a thread after 5 games waving the white flag.

"Face it, the sad reality here is whether its under old or new ownership this team ain't doing dick for the next 2-3 years."

How many games do you expect this Yankee team to win?

Isn't THAT the bottom line?

Answer the above question from my post#39....it regards RUN DIFFERENTIAL ....not teams playing .500......

How many teams qualified for the playoffs last year with a minus run differential?
Stop embarrassing yourself.

You better call for reinforcements.
You're up to your old word games again.

...you're really lost, aren't you?...there's no "word games" and certainly no need for "reinforcements", not when dealing with you anyway....it's pretty simple actually, which may explain why you're struggling with it. And why didn't you address the fact that NINETEEN runs of your exalted "run differential" were scored in TWO games?

...to answer your silly question, as far as I know, no team qualified for the playoffs last year. Now answer my question; ...how many teams made the the playoffs last year with a .500 record?

...my example was to show how ridiculous your stat about "run differential" truly was. Do teams qualify for the playoffs based on "run differential"?...No, they qualify based on their "record"...and currently the Yanx record is ".500".

...Are you caught up yet? ...This is one of the most idiotic post I've ever encountered, and I've seen more than my share over the years.

I like word games.....

6 letter word, second letter is "b", more than 90 degrees but not 180.

Its actually getting pretty pathetic at this point. Even after you make your point he's repeating the same shit over & over.

I wasn't talking about .500 records, I'm well aware the Yanks are currently playing .500 ball and if you can correct your convenient amnesia, I'm the guy who said -imo- the Yanks will win approx 90 games, so you can let the ".500" thing go.

I was pointing out how the Yanks run differential so far this year is plus 14 runs better than at this point than last year (6 g)......so you already admitted NO teams with a minus run differential made the playoffs last year.

So don't give me any bullish!t about .500 records.....I PICKED THIS TEAM to win approx 90 games when the dust settles....how about you big shot?
How many did you say this Yankee team will win?

I didn't hear ya. lol

Ask Rick, he seemed to have ducked the same question but his mouth seems to move when you move your hand. Lmao

Here's another gem from you:
And why didn't you address the fact that NINETEEN runs of your exalted "run differential" were scored in TWO games?

Okay, those games don't count, thrown them away......is that YOUR logic?

You're a funny guy.

...lol, I know what you were pointing out...and "so far this year" the Yanx' record is currently ".500".

...what difference does it make what the difference in run differential from last year is at this time if their records are the same as last year at this time?

...again, what's more important, a team's "run differential"?... or a team's "record"?...Lemme guess, you still don't understand?

...uhhh, no, ...no one said the games don't count...pay attention, like I said twice, using "run differential" at this point as any sort of gauge, considering that 23 of those runs came in only 2 games, is a useless stat.

...after 14 games and STILL a .500 team, was that part of the plan too?

No, actually I would think any plan would be for a 162 game season.
I know you can count, it's okay......I realize you want Cashman gone.

Yeesh

He doesn't have to go, but he's got to do a better job than what he's been doing. His track record thus far indicates he's unable to change his approach...like Tex and the shift.

...I have to admit, I defended Cashman for awhile, mainly because I don't really think he can be any better than he is and he simply does not have the Baseball acumen for being a competent GM...but enough is enough, he sucks, and again I blame the Steins more than I blame him because they are the ones who not only let it happen but they're also the ones who rewarded him and his ineptitude with a new contract.

And for the life of me I'll never figure out why.
