After 12 games last year 6-6, One game out of first place, run differential minus 6
After 12 games this year, 6-6, One game out of first place, run differential plus 8...

They've also scored 18 more runs at this point compared to last year.
Encouraging.....certainly better than crying the blues being 3 games out after FIVE games.

After 5 games I posted the averages of the starting players & I made the observations that the team was leading the league in errors & had a 199 team batting average & a 290 OBP. Now I guess in your world that would be considered SINGING THE BLUES. But with normal people it wouldn't be. But I'll just chalk this up to Bob being Bob. And laugh along with everyone else.

Continuing along with your comedic mentality you suggest that maybe I can repeat how many games the Yankees will win. This coming from a guy who repeats the same dumb arguments over & over & over & CONSTANTLY brings up how the team will win 90 or more games.

As comical as I find the fact that you appear to be really starved for attention you may want to remember this, "Sometimes its better to remain silent & have others just THINK you're an idiot, then to open up your mouth & remove all doubt". Okay, I'll play along. If a team can somehow manage to make the playoffs with a minus run differential, more power to them....but it better be a miniscule difference.

How many teams qualified for the playoffs last year with a minus run differential?

I wasn't talking about .500 records, I'm well aware the Yanks are currently playing .500 ball and if you can correct your convenient amnesia, I'm the guy who said -imo- the Yanks will win approx 90 games, so you can let the ".500" thing go.

I was pointing out how the Yanks run differential so far this year is plus 14 runs better than at this point than last year (6 g)......so you already admitted NO teams with a minus run differential made the playoffs last year.

...uhhh, no, ...no one said the games don't count...pay attention, like I said twice, using "run differential" at this point as any sort of gauge, considering that 23 of those runs came in only 2 games, is a useless stat.

He doesn't have to go, but he's got to do a better job than what he's been doing. His track record thus far indicates he's unable to change his approach...like Tex and the shift.
 
...I have to admit, I defended Cashman for awhile, mainly because I don't really think he can be any better than he is and he simply does not have the Baseball acumen for being a competent GM...but enough is enough, he sucks, and again I blame the Steins more than I blame him because they are the ones who not only let it happen but they're also the ones who rewarded him and his ineptitude with a new contract.
