well i understand but at least im not telling you greg oden is gonna win championships and durant is gonna win scoring titles.

right?

lol bgrant!!!

sure GO-time. How bout i take oden gets injured?

Well now it depends how you read that bet. Oden is already injured, so it seems like the odds are in my favor that Oden never gets on the court to get injured.

I fear there might be a mixum bandwagon when it comes to Oden this year . . .

i bet you oden will not play more then 35 games. if he does play 36... i will take another summer off.

Yikes

i just really wonder if this current blazer team is better then last year.

I think every position has improved except center. Also, other teams have gotten worse this summer including playoff teams Phx, Utah, and most likely Denver.

I don't like the back-up SF situation. Matthews is undersized, and Babbit is an unknown. Martell could have been a very good bench player, had his ego/psyche allowed it.

I played one game against Dale as a freshman in HS and I will never forget it. He was catching when I went to bat. The dude was a foot taller than me. I walked and stole second off of him. I thought the coach was insane for giving me the sign to steal third. It was not close. Murph hit two off us that day. Classy guy for a high school kid.

Who'd you play ball for?

Back to mixum making long posts that I don't read because he isn't worth the time

And if my aunt had a weiner she'd be my uncle ...

I agree Martell could have been a good back up SF. But this clears room for Batman to get major minutes with Matthews, Cunningham and even some Roy picking up the 15 minutes or so at that spot.

welcome back Mixum.. I look forward to another season!

Your insight is always interesting to me. I'm glad you have a gf as i was wondering if you caught a female fancy with your logic!

Homer camp for sure. I'd put you right in the middle of the Illiad.

Ed O.

haha I actually got that one :)

Welcome back Mix. This thread made me laugh. The people who rip you...their posts say all I need to now about them. We're all Blazers fans. Can't wait for the season to start!

thanks guys for the love. its good to be back. nate dogg.... you are def not a blip but maybe a blip of a homer? No im joking. good to see you on here my friend!

wheels.... your name says it bro.... lol....

listen, i dont care who a homer is and who isnt really but im not gonna sugar coat shit like so many here do. its the barrett syndrome and its annoying. i mean i think mike is a nice guy and does a good job on tv but he is tooooooo wheels at work every other time. i just am honest and say what i feel the truth is. people all summer talk about greg playing 64 games and im sitting here thinking... if greg played 40.... and made it to april... that would be amazing.

Gotta say, Mixum--I'm kinda disappointed. I was expecting something a little off the radar from you from your first post, but nothing you said was any different than what many have been saying all summer. Let me recap...draft was boring, rookies are projects, Matthews is redundant, Cho is unproven, Pendergraph has regressed, Oden's rehab progress is disappointing, roster holes still exist. Really, the only semi-controversial point you made was pegging Johnson as a combo-guard, which as Nik pointed out is basically irrelevant anyway. Furthermore, I'm also surprised and slightly dismayed that you included no Rudy take in there.

Glad to see you back, and I'll attribute the sub-par post to early-season rust. Can you step your game up a little for your next thread, though?

Welcome back Mixum! Great post and I agreed with most of what you posted.
