The Warriors aren't a great rebounding team. That's a place where the Cavaliers could have a real advantage. On the other hand, the Warriors led the league in blocked shots by a mile, so the idea that the Cavaliers are going to feast offensively inside seems...unlikely.

To me, it's pretty simple though: the Cavaliers have been mediocre to terrible all year at defense, while the Warriors have been historically good offensively. The Cavaliers can't leverage a rebounding advantage quite so much if the Warriors are making all their shots. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The thing is, the Cavs aren't exactly a great rebounding team, either. GSW out rebounded their opponents by 0.6 rebounds per game this season, while CLE was out rebounded 0.4 rebounds per game. Both teams were pretty middle of the pack. So, it's not like the Cavs are going to kill them on the boards. At least not nearly enough to make up for the fact that GSW is way better than CLE both offensively and defensively.

Good point. I didn't look up Cleveland's rebounding numbers, I just figured a team with Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love and LeBron James would be pretty solid on the boards.

Of course, that assumes CLE makes the finals this year, which I don't think is a given. Sure, any team with LeBron is going to be the odds on favorite to come out of the East, but CLE was far less dominant this year than that last two. TOR, BOS and WAS were all pretty comparable to CLE in terms of offensive efficiency and all better defensively than CLE. CLE is also laden with playoff tested veterans, and they have LeBron, so they are the most likely to come out of the East, but I wouldn't be entirely shocked if they don't.

If you had watched maybe you'd have a legit opinion about things this is just speculation about a stat line. If you watch the game (and I would suggest it) you would see someone with a foot out the door and eyes on his 25m contract coming in next year. If I was GM I would package him for a real star instead of paying that POS.
I watched him have two stellar games, and many great games in the regular season. Why is he a POS from 1 bad game? Dame had a bad game 2. Is he a POS?

Yeah, right now I'd probably say that the Cavaliers are the likeliest single team to win the East, but I might bet the field over them.

He quit it was obvious he had 0 points for the majority of the game his stat line was pedestrian at best in a home playoff game to avoid a sweep. I'm still just so very angry because I saw it live. I love Cj's game dont get me wrong. I just lost a lot of respect for him after the way he went out. Didnt seem like the way a real competitor operates. If we are going to pay a guy pretty much max deal and that is how you show the fans youre worth it?
