Only hardcore liberals and hypocrite Republicans would think Franken should resign. Interesting seeing the mental gymnastics it takes to get one to admit that there are different levels of offensive behavior.

To hear them tell it a goofy grin at a woman is equivalent to Roy Moore trolling shopping malls for young girls.

I guess the good in this current events nightmare is that LWNJs are grappling with logic. That can't hurt.

The closet case family values RINOs on the other hand will keep on being themselves until they get caught.

I don't see how the Dems could do anything different... if they're going to demand resignation from Republicans Moore and Trump for this behavior they have to be consistent even if that means losing one of their own.

Seriously, the only difference is this came out after Franken is in office. Moore if he wins it is part of the package they voted for.

Hypothetically speaking, if the world's best brain surgeon did exactly what Franken is supposed to have done should he or she quit their job?

I thought Franken a disgusting fellow before any revelations of his actions came forward. Pretty much the reason I do not think the guy will actual resign. Just talk about it. That would be consistant with his character.

He's resigning. He announced it. I don't think he is a disgusting fellow. Ge is good man who made poor decisions. He was a damn good senator. Its unfotunate he has to go, but that is all that is left to do.

Well I didn’t think Al was that kind of guy. This really sucks. I’m wrong, but I’m glad the Dems showed moral convictions and demanded the same of their own as they do of others. It’s how actual progress is made.
