You wouldn't know it the way people bitch about LaMarcus around here. We're spoiled. And how cool is it that Lillard is 9th? All Star?
 
points per game isn't everything if you need a ton of shots to get them and don't get to the FT line that much. LMA's scoring efficiency (reflected in TS%, ORtg etc.) is at a *career* low so far this year. people have every right to bitch.

pretty crazy that lillard is still that high in ppg. i'm expecting it to drop a few points at least, but I hope it doesn't.
 
Between 3 feet from the hoop and the 3-point line, Aldridge takes more FGA this season than all other Blazers combined.
 
lma is 4th in attempts per game, and 5th in makes, seems pretty good to me, does he need to be first or something?

oh no, lma isnt lebron, trade him!
 
If his overshooting gave us an elite win record, there would be nothing wrong with the strategy. But it gives us a bad win record.

Why is this such a hard concept for people to understand? We are not built to win this year, we are built to be exciting, get a ROY, hopefully put one guy in the all star game, and get a good draft pick. We could easily improve our bench right now and compete for the 8th playoff spot but whats the point?

You either get the bench some experience or you hope LA increases his trade value. This is a "growing pains" year either way you look at it.

3 quarters gone, 12 down, Aldridge blowing easy shot after easy open layup. An uncoordinated, low effort natural center who refuses to play like a center and thinks he's only a shooter.
 
C'mon, guys. Everyone knows that PPG is the be-all, end-all measurement of a player's ability. CLEARLY LMA is the 4th best player in the league.
 
Equally interesting is the fact that Victor Claver is 0-1 shooting for the entire season. He did score a point on a FT though.
