The good news is, he won't be able to try out for other teams in free agency. Obviously, that means he intends on staying.

Any word if they're going to treat his allergies?

I think it is our duty to spread the rumor that the surgery went horribly wrong and he had to have the thumb removed. Also they sliced his achilles by accident.

Accidental microfracture surgery would be a lot more believable, all things considered.

So if LA had surgery during the season he would have been back by mid March with a whole month to get into playoff shape

Shit, the way they were playing in the second half of the season they wouldn't have even been in the playoffs without him by the time he came back. The way it ended that may have been better though.

We were 31-11 when he got hurt, I think we would've still made the playoffs (he would've likely been back by the Warriors game on 3/24, so 14 games before the playoffs). Leonard would have got a lot of minutes and starts, bigger role for the playoffs. Who knows though?

Keep in mind it said he "is expected to be able to return basketball activity in approximately eight weeks".

That does not mean that he could have played in an NBA game in exactly 8 weeks.
Just that he could start shooting. Not sure if he should be engaging in competitive games that soon where he could reinjure it.

Damn that selfish bastard for postponing surgery! Asshole.

How so? Look at the end result.. A 4-1 first round beating. At least with LA getting the surgery our young guys like Leonard and t-rob (at the time) would've gotten a good look and very valuable court time/more trade value.

Not a trend I would want to see........ players quitting during the season with minor injuries, so their back ups can gain extra playing time and increase their trade value.........

Was it minor though? Didn't he say it hurt like hell? He also took a shit ton more jumpers after the injury. He became less efficient.

LMA/Love s&t in the works.

No, ironically he started going inside more. He played his best stretch of basketball of the season in the weeks after the injury, but then he reverted back to LaMarsha. He was deplorable in the playoffs, jacking up stupid jumpers.

No shit? It seemed to me after that Dallas game that we blew he just completely changed to 70/30 jumper/inside, at least that's what it felt like... But being fair when wes went down Stotts probably wanted more jumpers from him to spread the floor.

In Stotts, world, jacking up a lot of 40% 2pt jumpers is good because it "spreads the floor". No, it doesn't spread the floor, defenses will give LA that shot all night long. In fact, most of the time he's fucking well guarded and it takes it anyway.

So either it doesn't spread the floor because they're gving it to him, or it does because most of the time he's well guarded. Which is it exactly? You want to have it both ways don't you?

It doesn't matter, it's a crappy shot.
