He has had more double doubles in the month of January than anyone in the NBA and his rebound average is about to hit 9 for first time in his career.

Peace.

His total rebounding percentage is tied with his 2010-11 season so far, his per minute rebounds increasing has alot to do with our much increased pace compared to Nateball. We've gone from 87.9 possessions per game in 10-11 (the last full Nate season) to 91.1 so far this year.

He was being criticized for his rebounding early in the season when he was rounding into shape after last season's surgery and off-season rehab. One thing he has been doing this season is really fighting for important rebounds at the end of games. It's nice to see him take rebounding so seriously.

There isn't much I can say that I don't like about Aldridge. He is our all star and best player on the team.

Now that KingSpeed has made this thread I expect his rebounding average to level off at about 7 by the end of the season.

just messin

So you're saying this would be the perfect time to trade him?

His rebounding is much improved--as is his shooting! I've never seen the guy shoot so well. He's like a machine out there.

funny..I was thinking that wth the KS curse, we would be lucky if LMA could avoid an injury..

Love has been injured. You guys have had nowhere the injuries the Wolves have,

Lmao!!!! Of all the teams in the nba; Portland fans know about losing players. You tbitch fans got the bitter end with Roy. Ever heard of oden?

By the way love is a terrible shooter to boot.

You came to the wrong forum to bitch about injuries too. Portland can take any teams injury history and one up it.

Agreed

ummm our All Star Brandon Roy retired and our #1 pick is out of the league. Your loss due to injuries isn't CLOSE to being as bad as ours. And we still have a better record that your garbage team.

Over the 16 games in January so far Aldridge has averaged 19.9ppg and 10.4rpg

My team is the Jazz and since moving out here I'm starting to warm up to the Blazers. I just noticed the Blazers haven't really had many injuries lately is all. And to tell you the truth, the bench here isn't THAT bad.

i may be a noob...... but he's a better shooter then LA!

I am going to give you his all-star year just because of sake of argument to Aldridge this year; which has sloped from last year.

3-9 ft. Love = 39%
10-15 ft Love = 28.7%
16-3 point Love = 38.9%
Three pointers Love = 37%

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/aldrila01/shooting/2013/

3-9 ft LMA = 46.5%
10-15 ft LMA = 41.1%
16- Three Point LMA = 40.4%
3 pointers LMA = 10%

Yeah Aldridge is a better shooter.

Got any other gems?

But if Aldridge last year vs. Love last year....
http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/aldrila01/shooting/2012/

3-9 Ft LMA = 52.3%
10-15 Ft LMA = 40.4%
16- three point LMA = 43.4%
Three pointers LMA = 18.2%

lowest scoring bench in 23 years ... yeah, they're THAT bad.

Way to change the subject. Who's talking about this season? You certainly aren't if you are talking about Love being injured. You said "when he (LaMarcus) gets rebounds like Kevin Love." Are you saying LaMarcus should rebound like injured Love? The one who hasn't been playing, because he's injured?

Fez: I think we have have a "rube" in our midst. And I fell for it. :)
