Well when you have a super-team in GS and there's about to be a super-team in LA, why even try for the next couple years? Gotta wait for those teams to crumble.

That's the thing.... there's a super team, and then there's another super team, and then there's ANOTHER super team. They don't crumble. They just keep coming.

Boston -> Miami -> Golden State/Cleveland -> Lakers/Warriors?

If they're in the East, that's different. Notice how the last one includes two Western Conference teams?

Also, a team like GS will never be able to be formed again. That was the flukiest BS ever. LeBron is LeBron, once he's gone I don't think there will be someone as dominant as him.

You ain't gonna be able to compete against that LA team, or Houston, or Golden State by adding LaMarsha, so why mortgage the future in fruitless pursuit?

Thing is, when those teams crumble thare will be new super teams. So whats the point? Dames also not getting any younger.

I’m very much on the side of fuck it we need vets, why not? But I also know it will never happen.

And how the fuck does Jabari know this organization would want him back? As soon a second he left all the details of the Memphis series came out and how troubling it was to work with him. Confusing. I’m sure dame and cj would welcome it though. I would give him a second chance. He played really well last season

Could you imagine a lineup of Lamarcus, Nurk, CJ, Dame and a warm body?

Hell, imagine one of Nurk, LaMarcus, Collins, CJ and Dame.

Not sure what would happen, but it'd be better than the team is now.

Of course, I really doubt they could get LaMarcus back without trading one of those 3 (because you KNOW they ain't trading Damian) and I really don't think it'd be a good trade to trade one of the other 3.

Even Neil "John Nash" Olshey isn't stupid enough to trade Collins for an aging LMA.
rookie contracts for rotation players are like gold in the NBA...last thing we need to do is lose value and cap space. The new nba trend is speed....you have to run Houston and Golden State out of the gym to beat them...Lamarcus is past his prime and probably lost a couple steps in the full court..I don't see us trading for him at all....we could get David West cheap if we wanted that sort of power forward...in a Chris Kaman bench role..need for speed!
