The Blazers are on a bus right now headed to Eugene so they can fly out to Denver. According to Ch. 8 news.

I'm guessing they'll survive it.
Another 7" tonight...wow
Where did you hear that? I just checked weather.com and it said 2-4 inches over night.
I seriously doubt the game on Tuesday is going to happen. Not only will be it very difficult for both teams to get into town, none of the fans will be able to get to the game.

hope it clears up..mom's in Sac-town right now her flight to PDX was cancelled. I'm flying into SEA on Tuesday then driving up to PDX for Christmas the next day...hope everything isn't totally fucked.
Well, if you are planning on driving up to Portland from Seattle, you will indeed be screwed.

Portland's mean elevation is 52 feet, Seattle is at sea level, so ...![]()
Portland, OR Latitude = 45°31'N
Seattle, WA Latitude = 47°37'N
My latitude trumps your altitude.
Besides, he said he was flying into SEA and driving up to PDX.
SEA Altitude = 429'
PDX Altitude = 27'

Portland has a higher elevation than Seattle, so it literally is driving "up".
Seems like a nitpicky thing to call out a poster on, regardless.
Slow day. Snowed in. No game.

Christ. I was being sarcastic.
I just spent the last hour and a half playing in the snow with my kids. It was fun. And, it's so quiet out there. No traffic. Nobody else out.

Where do you live. We've have an inch layer of ice here in Tualatin. My kids laughed when we skidded things across the "lawn" until they crashed, then they got sick of the freezing rain and the fun was over.![]()
