The deadline is Feb 2nd, and the battle is, currently, between Portland and OKC. Doc Rivers has an outside chance at being the coach too.

Doc Rivers probably has the toughest road to winning the coaching spot.

For Stotts to win the coaching spot, the team HAS to win out imho. Or at most lose 1 game (not against OKC).

OKC has probably 3 tough games, but 2 are on the road. If they lose 2 of those 3 games, it gives Portland a slightly bigger window.

After hosting us, OKC basically has a 7-game road trip (2 separate road 3-in-4s, with 1 home game sandwiched in the middle). Over the span of just 11 days. That's going to be brutal. After we beat them, they'll lose to the Spurs, they're going to drop the game in Philly, lose to the Heat, and probably lose in Brooklyn too.

Just watch.
