That is a HUGE difference.

I hope they play harder on defense then. Dame's defense was horrible against the Lakers.

If they haven't playing to the best of their ability to this point, then they really, really don't deserve any individual honors. Plus, I'd want them traded for players who don't wait for "slights" to really try.

But I don't actually think that's true, that they need incentive to play harder. They're playing as hard as they can.

Why is that a good argument to discount the stats? Averages are averages of a whole and AS selection should be based on the whole not just the recent, same with all NBA.
