Agree… keep the pick!Would Miller be so bad to draft? Miller and Sharpe could be our Brown and Tatum duo like Boston has.

The main argument I have read is that he just needs to put more muscle on his frame because he didn't have the strength to absorb contact and finish.
His response to the shooting is….not great.

In addition to this (and what a bizarre answer he gives when asked about the woman's death)
Guys.... I don't know if either of you know anyone who has been charged and prosecuted before, but I have. I have seen how our justice system works. There is no benefit at all to talk to anyone other than your lawyer if you could potentially face charges. Zero benefit.
He has been told by his legal team not to talk. That's what he's doing. That is 100% the right thing to do. I get it... people want to hear remorse. They want him to apologize. If he does that, it opens him up to a lawsuit. There's a reason why Canada had to pass a law that prevents Canadians from being held accountable for apologizing after an accident.
You can see him running through what to say in his head before saying it because he clearly wants to be as vague as possible. The media wants the story. They don't care if the interview ruins his life.
I just wanted to see him formulate a composed answer. He's still humming and hawing trying to remember exactly the words his lawyer told him to say.
I don't blame him. Say the wrong thing and your in jail. He's obviously scared. I'd be.I just wanted to see him formulate a composed answer. He's still humming and hawing trying to remember exactly the words his lawyer told him to say.

interesting timing to release this video. glad he's not our problem
I would've taken Amen, consensus second highest ceiling in the draft only behind Wemby, if I knew Dame was going to ask outKnowing that Dame would have ask out, would you guys have preferred Miller falling at #3 or is it better having Scoot?
Would you have trust Simons as PG of the future?
Simons
Sharpe
Miller
or
Scoot
Sharpe
X
with Simons on the move?

I think most people “in the know” view Scoot as a generational talent.Knowing that Dame would have ask out, would you guys have preferred Miller falling at #3 or is it better having Scoot?

how is that remotely a "consensus?"I would've taken Amen, consensus second highest ceiling in the draft only behind Wemby, if I knew Dame was going to ask out
was scoot then. is scoot now.Easily Scoot. How is this a question.
Is that why we were supposedly getting lowball offers for him?I think most people “in the know” view Scoot as a generational talent.
Lowball offers due to the fact DAME made it known he wanted the pick traded. Is that why we were supposedly getting lowball offers for him?
Teams wanted to stick it to Portland SO bad that they were going to screw their own franchise and pass on the opportunity for a *generational* talent?
Go back and read/listen to a majority of draft analysts.how is that remotely a "consensus?"
So you're saying teams wanted to fuck themselves?Lowball offers due to the fact DAME made it known he wanted the pick traded.
I would've taken Amen over Scoot because of his height, but I don't think Dame would've been OK with Amen or Scoot, and probably not even Miller. Why not take him either way? I truly feel taking Dame's heir apparent was the final straw. Not the same thing with Amen. I do like Scoot, I just think Amen has the potential to do more on the court, especially with shooters like Ant and Sharpe.
OkSo you're saying teams wanted to fuck themselves?
They were willing to say, "Hey, we have NO shot at Dame, but we could get this generational point guard that would "supposedly" be #1 in any other draft, but we're just going to make a shit offer and see what happens?"
The logic in this place is crazy.
I assure you, if the Spurs made it known they didn't want Wemby, teams wouldn't be "lowballing" them. There would be a nuclear arms race to see who could get that pick from them.
