I just read something that said that Cincinnati and Boston had a whiter metro area than Portland... do ya'll feel like you should create measures to reclaim you rightful thrown as the whitest city in America?

That and, is there anything more to a Portland culinary experience than Voodoo doughnuts?

As an outsider, even someone who's been posting on this board for a while, my view of Portland, having never visited, is white people, some good doughnuts, a lot of hipsters, and the Trail Blazers. Ya'll can argue those stereotypes to the death, but that's pretty much how I think my generation looks at Portland.

Portland is known for having food carts, tons of them.

As for the donuts, I think it's something that is more important to the hipster Portlanders, and those who didn't grow up here. While I could be wrong, I don't know anyone who grew up in Portland who cares all that much about voodoo donuts.

It's donuts with cereal or bacon slapped on it. In my youth we did that in sandwiches (peanut butter and fruit loops, etc), but grew out of it.

It's kind of like Portlandia. Yeah, it's kind of our inside joke but it's not really like that.

I didn't even know that PSU had a masters program.

It has several. It actually has a bigger enrollment than both OSU and U of O, and more graduate students than both. Not sure about the #'s of masers programs, but it offers it.

I think you need to include the Timbers and Timbers Army.

The donuts are overrated.

The new urban target at the galleria -- is that a Portlandia reference?

PAW is going back to the review board with plans on going back to the pre-recession proposal/height.

The block across the street (north) from the Koin Tower has a 23-floor Hotel/Apartment project in the works, too.

Mags who is that? Some architect?

No clue. Just making a dig for blazer season ticket holders cashing in on laker fans. It's kinda embarrassing seeing so many laker fans at a home game.

I know they can double, sometimes triple their ticket sales; but the enemy has a home in Portland now

I'm fittin to move into a brand new apartment building on Mississippi in December. Its gonna be dope.

The Emery - South Waterfront

Of all the projects that have popped up since the recession this is by far my favorite project.

Great design, unique location, awesome choice of materials.

I'm sorry that's bullshit. There is a sign for 570AM in the background. There is no radio station in Portland at that dial, but there is a LA Fox Sports radio station. Use some detective work first.

Lmao dude!!!!! You are aware that was a joke right? I pick a laker game as in "it's so crowded with laker fans, it looks like a laker game".
