all these buildings would look better if street artists just spraypainted murals on them.

It would be a cold day in hell before I ever lived in Beaverton.

Can't stand that place!

Couldn't find all things Beaverton :)

The Oregon Department of Education released the schools report card today and, for the most part, Beaverton schools did quite well.

15 of our 51 schools were in the top 10%, 3/4 of them were ranked above average, and most are above average when compared with schools with similar socioeconomic backgrounds.

Apparently there are beavers in Lake Wobegon?

A cool proposal for SoWa - would go on the western facade of the Center for health and healing building:

Yes he has designed some amazing buildings. He has done 2 real cool bridges out in the middle if nowhere as well, but one of his bests is Skamania Lodge.

Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5 FAMS!

PDX is a good airport, but it's by no means a 'hub', even for Alaska Air.

I like the wifi, and that they have some local food stores. And that you can take the MAX right to the door (which I love about Reagan National).

NoPo isn't messing around! The Path/Kaiser proposal:
Portland really needs to get smarter with their traffic control throughout the entire city - it's a joke how poorly they've managed traffic flow.
They just put a New Seasons in right there at Williams/Fremont, which has already made traffic worse. These new developments are only going to add to the problem. Further, I've heard whispers that they're thinking of taking Williams down from two lanes to one. Even though that improves my commute as a cyclist I'm completely against it - Williams NEEDS two lanes. Portland needs to address traffic and bring some industry to the city before continuing to build more unneeded housing.

There is actually a big shortage in Portland; About 12,000 units are to be built by 2015 - many in the Pearl and the Lloyd District. Fwiw a lot of the projects that I've posted in North Portland are office buildings.

MLB in Portland? Not a freaking chance in hell!

Stick it in the 'burbs. Keep that shit out of the city!

I'd love a MLB baseball team to call our own. I'm not expecting this to ever happen though :(

A stadium in the 'burbs?

That's so nimby of you.

You want it as close to downtown as you can get.

#1 - Next to OMSI
#2 - Pearl Post Office site
#3 - Tear down the atrocity known as the Lloyd Center Mall.
