Did you realize that the elk statue is now backwards! Probably erosion huh?

Awesome.

I noticed. It was the first pic that came up and I wasn't interested enough in looking for a better one. Me lazy you see.

That statue is still there on Main St. downtown near 4th Ave.

Rolling on 26's, bitches!

Another rendering of the long term vision of SoWa

SouthWaterfrontGreenway.jpg

It looks like two different cities in that pic. Kind of strange. But I'm looking forward to seeing SoWa completed. I haven't even been down there yet. Just driven by it a ton. Are there any restaurants or bars open down there yet?

PSU's future Arts Center

This district is booming:

*Sustainability high-rise
*PSU rec center
*Three planned PSU dorm towers
*PSU Arts Center
*Cyan condo high rise

How freaking cool is this stained glass feature? A Pearl District high-rise:

Look at this lovely picture from 1898 - Did not go much further than maybe 20 ave. going east (using today's terminology), it seems...

Condos are going for up to 80% less than the original asking price at SoWa (auction). I highly recommend this if you have the means.

They're fucking lovely.

I can only imagine living there if rich single, older married or gay though.

If you look closely, you can see DennyCrane's compound up in the West Hills!
