An interesting proposal but it's still a ways out. A concept from BikePortland.Org:

In other news -- Intel recently built $3billion facility (Hillsboro) have released Phase-ll of the property that will include another manufacturing facility and an office building that will bring thousands of "permanent jobs" to the area. Oh, and this phase will cost Intel more $3+ billion.

fez, where on bike portland was that?

When/IF this happens I think the "Omsi District" has so much potential. Especially if the city lands an MLB team, that's where the stadium should go.

A new rendering from the PDC of the long-term vision of the Lloyd District:

that's a lot of office space and apartments/condos.

The cable bridge is slowly rising. New shots from Portland-Milwaukie's FLICKR:

With state's backing, Nike now must choose where to build

A Nike Tower/campus @ South Waterfront, IMO, is the most likely area with the Zidell land now with the enterprise zone tag.

Great news for the city.

And it's most likely not a replacement for the Beaverton campus, but an expansion. Stick the designers and business downtown where it's cool and hip, and leave the Nike Tech and IT folks in Beaverton, allowing them to abandon the Tek campus buildings they're leasing.

It's definitely an expansion. Office space at their Beaverton site is very tight.

Hmmm, interesting. I'm definitely for bringing jobs out of the suburbs and into the city.
