I hope this isn't premature but, I think Allan Houston deserves an appreciation thread. Allan Houston made that great shot tonight against Philadelphia showing us what we lacked for several months. I know he has only played 4 games but, he seems like he is doing great. He is a perfect compliment for this team no question. I didn't want this guy to get traded because I knew he was such a vital piece in the puzzle this franchise is trying to put together. When Allan recieved the little minutes he recieved he produced. Tonight against Philadelphia he showed us just that. His shooting, experience, great example and leadership is what the team hasn't had. Allan Houston had shown an immense amount of courage finally coming back and showing no illaffects from that knee. Many reports came in saying he lost much of his shooting, and his shot will never be the same ever. Houston ignored all of that and came back and looked great in all of his games so far. Even when the Knicks played thier first practice at MSG, Knick fans were booing him. Allan never gave up his hope and came back from an injury successful. Even if he didn't even play a game yet and was planning to suit up on Sunday, the fact that he came back I think is worthy for us to give props to and appreciate. Hopefully he can continue this play and propel us far into the playoffs. Again I hope this isn't too early to tell but, I think Houston's antics definitely deserves praise from us.
