An example in support of the "Aldridge at SF" idea

"The Jazz go Big in a Smallball world"

That said, I'm not sure we should do this just to get Leonard on the floor. If we're going big, I think Jeffries at SF makes more sense.

I'd go young if we're going to try: Lillard / Batum / Claver / LMA / Leonard

This supports my pet theory that Hickson/Matthews off the bench would solve our bench problems.

Take out Claver, who isn't a real NBA talent, and you may be on to something.

Who on our team would you put at SF in his place?

Pavlovic?

Sadly there arn't better options. Just start Matthews and Batum at the wings then sub one out after 5 minutes so one can always be on the court.

Lillard, batum, Aldridge, hickson and Leonard start. Bring Matthews off the bench.

you could maybe do that against teams like Utah and Minny

Exactly; good point. And man did I love that 1998-99 team. Before everything fell apart, they were something else.

That was my favorite blazer team I've watched. I liked them better than even the early 90's blazers. I actually didn't like how we got so old after the sweep from spurs. If that team stayed together; I expect titles or contention every year!
