Why?
Varejao’s deal includes two years and nearly $19 million guaranteed. The Cavaliers are searching out teams with space, such as Philadelphia and Portland, which could take on Varejao’s contract as part of a three-team trade, league sources said. Those teams would likely be compensated with draft considerations and cash to take on Varejao. For this reason, the Cavaliers won’t take on Frye without finding a home for Varejao’s deal
Damn Sasha had the slowest release of any shooter I've ever seen.Didn't we get Sasha Pavlovic from Boston years ago and the deal include them paying his salary?
If it's the Cavs pick no thanks. High second rounders seem to have more value than picks 25-30.For a 1st round draft pick and not giving up anyone?
Sure, why the hell not.
Do we have an open roster spot? How high is the pick? For a 1st round draft pick and not giving up anyone?
Sure, why the hell not.
There is a massive thread where this very thing is being discussed. Nothing new here. Can you guys start merging threads? The repetitive threads are getting annoyingOld news? This was floated by someone assuming we would be involved since we have so much space available.
Is there anything new to report? If so put the tweet here

You just like him because he's got clown hair...by your avatarHow is Varejao going to find minutes behind BroLo when he gets here..............???
No, that's RoLo.....You just like him because he's got clown hair...by your avatar
Actually Andy has a real 70's B movie thing going on....No, that's RoLo.....
I think he's paid 9.75 mil next yr and with the new stretch provision you could make it 3.25 mil over the ext 3 yrs, so that's the cost for a 2018 ist rdr - not too bad I thinkIt would have to be a great pick ...Andy V is owed 19 mil over a couple years I think. That's a price to pay for a pick.
I think it would be a 2018 pick, Lebron will be 34 at least, they could be in decline and they are still now in salary cap hell, might be worth the risk?If it's the Cavs pick no thanks. High second rounders seem to have more value than picks 25-30.
And Andy would cut into cap space next year
They still have Kyrie and Thompson locked in. And whatever they will get for love. I think LeBron will be studly into his late 30's.I think it would be a 2018 pick, Lebron will be 34 at least, they could be in decline and they are still now in salary cap hell, might be worth the risk?
Whose first round pick? For a 1st round draft pick and not giving up anyone?
Sure, why the hell not.
