Re: Ebola quarantine for people returning to NY from affected areas/people.

NY Gov Andrew Cuomo has changed, modified or caved in according to which direction the political winds are blowing.

First he was on board with NJ Gov Christie for a 21 day mandatory quarantine period at a medical center for those people mentioned above.

Pres Obama says he's against the mandated isolation...and presto....Gov Andrew Cuomo "adjusts" his state's policy to a self imposed quarantine with medical people "checking up" on them in their own homes.

Gov Christie stays steadfast and tells EVERYONE his obligation is to the safety of the people of his state and he isn't going to change it.

You may recall recently, a doctor returned from west africa with the virus and instead of quarantining himself the good doctor first went to a restaurant, a bowling alley and rode the subway.

Since that time, it has come to light that certain strains of the Ebola virus can live on surfaces for up to 5 days.


Do the math and think like a detective. lol

Well said.... Liberalism really is a mental disorder.

It has evolved to the point where "Liberal" politicians have to be blind to certain basics which help insure the safety, well being, high level of standards and preservation of an orderly (our) society.

Today's "Liberal" politicians really are plain old LEFTWINGERS!
There is no in between -
Anyone near the center of the political spectrum is really to the far right of today's Democrat Party. I mean, there just aren't any national Democrats around who could be described as mainstream centrists..

Well, I agree it is a shitty analogy, yet I did say the quote had nothing to do with Politics. More of an open mind free of concepts.; which also has nothing to do with Politics.
