my dog does this daily

One curious cat, with an atomic reactor for a heart...

Nothing like having the sacred cow lay down on you at the beach....

IMG_2476.JPG Can my 'tiel count as category "executive decision maker"?

Our little rescue orange tabby (male), just about 2 years old, is more Dat than Cat.

I mean he actually plays fetch. Not just chasing the ball, toy or even stick. He brings it back and drops it at your feet.

Hell...I could never get the dobe to do the drop part, lol.

...I lost my orange tabby "Hobbes" (named after Calvin and Hobbes) about 2 weeks ago...he was 15 and we had a really good run together...anytime I was outside in the shop or the garden he had to be right there with me, almost as if he was protecting me.

...miss you, Buddy.

I'm sorry to hear about Hobbes, 59.... and Tote, one can never get over the loss of a great Dobe like Jax, but you knew that....sorry to hear of these losses. Tom, I've got to say when you posted Jax had departed Earth, it moved me to deep sorrow...

Losing a best friend, or (seriously); losing a pet/animal is not much different than losing a family member indeed. Our Pet's/animals are our extended family. Our little guy is like having a child, one we adore.

...see the resemblance?

...pshh...couldn't keep Cheetos when he was around...luckily for me, he preferred the puffed kind...I like the crunchy.

Uggh..sorry to hear about Hobbes...we had a tabby TD...as he was born on April 15 aka Tax Day lol...he was my wife and mine first baby when she brought him home to our apartment right before we got married.
They become so deepy intwine in our daily lives. The word pet does not give these family members the respect they deserve.

Rip Mr. Hobbes enjoy endless catnip in your next life

...thanx fellas...my wife also lost her female Persian mixed cat "Prissy" about a month earlier...still seems weird that those damned demanding cats are not hollering to be fed every morning when we first get up.

What's wrong with you Rob???

What's wrong with you Rob???

it's the bad dirty air of the Mojave, with typical high winds that blow like a hurricane, filling the air like a fishbowl with dirt/sand, as well as LA's wildfire smoke, & LA's's smog too. Mojave Desert is a sandbox; with extremely high winds.

Highest winds ever clocked in this fkng desert were right at 100 mph, blew the roof off my neighbors house, (that was yrs ago). Yesterday and t/day prior, we had 50 mph winds with gusts up to 62 mph.... a real hell hole, yet the winter's are usually warm, its 72 degrees today, yet got down to a fkng freezing 10 degrees last night. The Mojave is a very strange place, geographically, physically to endure. Typical August temps here are often 110-120 degree's, I shit you not....

either that, or I sniffed too much Jet Fuel JP4 fumes, when I was working.....ahhh the smell of jet fuel, smells like a bbq, without the meat....
