MediaTakeOut.com has learned that a prominent member of the New Jersey Nets has admitted to his family that he's bisexual.In an exclusive interview, MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a friend of the family who claims the player "came out" during a recent trip home. According to our source, "when [the player] came out of the closet, everyone was shocked ... we would always see pictures of him with models. No one suspected that he was into men."And what's more shocking, tells our source, is that the NBA player has entered into a romantic relationship with one of his childhood friends. The tipster explains, "the two boys were friends since childhood ... when [the player] went to the NBA, he brought along [the friend] as a personal assistant." The tipster added, "I don't know how to feel, I love them both but something doesn't seem right about them being together like that."And the source tells MediaTakeOut.com that the NBA star's relationship with his former pal appears to be serious. The source explains, "[the player] could have kept it quiet and nobody would have suspected. He came out because he wanted us to accept his relationship." The source added, "those two have been friends for many years .. if their relationship is anything like their friendship, its got to be serious."The NBA player, who is African American, has been linked to a number of women in the past - all of whom are Caucasian. He is also known for enjoying the night life with his teammates and good friend Tyson Beckford.For legal reasons, MediaTakeOut.com has decided not to print the name of the player.
 
I have no idea who this is, all we know is that it is not Nened Kristic lol. It isnt Kidd or Carter I know that because both are married. Anyone else have any ideas?

I think it's Richard Jefferson to be honest, He talks a bit feminine. His parents were Christian missionaries and they moved around all the time. That messes a lot of kids up.

Balla is right, RJ does talk a bit feminine, who knows? I don't know if or when we will find out, but I'm not going to sit here and accuse different players on the team just as a shot in the dark. But, I will say that Richard Jefferson does talk a bit femininely, and Josh Boone looks, well... ugh. Who knows?
 
I'm pretty sure its Richard Jefferson, now that you think about it, he might be the one Net who looks a bit, gay.
 
First of all I have to question the credibility of the source since I've never really heard of that site. Also, if this was true it would be all over the major sports media outlets.Anyway, assuming this story is true (which I don't think it is), you have to take into account that the article says a prominent member of the Nets came out of the closet. To me that pretty much means it's either Kidd, Carter or Jefferson. As people have already mentioned, both Kidd and Carter are married, therefore it leaves Jefferson... who everyone has already mentioned as being a bit feminine.
 
I think its Jefferson...I mean, look at the Nets banner^, he looks completely gay. Maybe him and Reggie "Ballhandler" Evans can hook up.
 
Well, it was bound to happen that one day a player had to come out of the closet. 400 dudes playing in a league that has been around for 60 years, and no one ever was gay? Now that's gay.But who knows..... until anything is official, I don't really like speculating.
 
I doubt it's Antoine Wright... he was here at Texas A&M, which is super conservative. RJ I could see. I could also see it as them just making it up. It's pretty hard to know if they're telling the truth. I imagine if the Nets were asked about it, they'd just deny.
 
I bet no one is gay. if you're gay in the nba you're not gonna survive.

It's got to be Richard Jefferson since he went to the gayest college of all. I just thought it was so hilarious when melo told me because now it makes more sense to call it, UgAy..

It has to be RJ. As mentioned in the article, it says African American and always been reported with white women. All the pics of him that I've seen, he's been with women that were white. I was kind of thinking it'd be Vince because I think he has "gay" tendencies and some "gay" actions as well. Like he "gay" traits. But I think after reading the article, it has to be RJ.

I agree that it would be strange in a leauge with so many men in it for there not to be one gay person in it, but who cares? I'ma hetro but I'm also not a homophobe. Why would it be a big deal?
