That doesn't help me, I mean what do I do go through the whole roster from that time looking for any players that were hitting 175?

lol, just know my greatest accomplishment came b4 i was a pro.. also beatin out 2 #1 SS in MLB draft, and 1 was a #1 twice in draft, 2b the everyday SS at school, pizzed alot of players off along the way cause i could give a shite about the game at that point.... politics of the game were a turn off to me

So tell me Pasta the 175, was I giving you to much credit or not enough? You can be honest, I won't tell anyone.

had i signed right out of HS my chances of makin it to the show would have been much greater... playing mostly as a backup 1 year the SS was traded towards end of year, i played consistenly for 2 weeks, during that time i was 5 for 9, 2 dingers, and as a result of that play, got invited to instructional ball.. where i could not have played better.. i always excelled when i played with better competition... faced henneman, ripped him for a base knock my only appearance against him, played with all the future bigges and held my own... then came the week of the winter meetings when all the brass was in town.. i could not have put on a better performance.... was like 9 for 15 at the plate, and made every stellar play in the field, was thinkin 40 man roster come spring, you play like that infront of the entire org, no less the AAA, anyway it did not work out that way, i was on AA roster and by time ST ended i was back in high A.....

...I remember you claiming that you played for Gulf Coast Community College in Florida...and when I asked you what league you played in after college you originally could not provide and answer. I also vividly remember asking you what your career BA was, and you also could not provide an answer.

...now go ahead and claim that I'm making this up and you forgot to mention that you played college ball before pro ball. Your story doesn't add up, and it never has. No one who has played pro ball is as ignorant as you about even the simplest facets of the game.

nice try 59, you questioned me about what league intstructional ball was in, i mistakenly said to you at the time ' i think it was the cactus league, turns out it was the grapefruit league!! , wow, what did you prove i'm not the brightest bulb, NO F N KIDDING , u happy?... do u really think players know or give a shite about what they call a division or the name of the league we play in? give it a rest already.. and the funny thing was at the time we sort of shared a laugh cause it turns out i played in both, cubs arizona "cactus league", twins, florida, twins instructional ball, tampa, and we used the phillies facilty cause pohlad was to cheap to have a stadium built.

and u need to read my post again, had i signed!!!! HAD I SIGNED!!! i was drafted by 3 orgs and signed as a free agent cause i had turned down so many teams they thought i didn't want tp play, was all state everything in every state i played in college high school whatever!!! and what does it matter now????

let me ask you a question, what kind insight do you think you would get if u had a player like cano on here????? stop your nonsense about 1'z ignorance about the facets of the game... so u know how to articulate the game better then someone who played it... big F N DEAL!! go treat yourself to a happy meal!!! My GOODNESS

...BS, ... no player, NO PLAYER forgets what league he played in and NO PLAYER forgets what his career BA was. And now you're trying to pass yourself off as an offensive force when we both know the truth.

...and the only people who were "having a laugh" were the ones laughing at you for getting caught in a lie...fortunately for you, the old espn boards are closed. Otherwise, I'd expose you once again for the fraud that you are.

...I already read your post. But when asked what league you played in you said "grapefruit league" (Fla)...but the team you claimed you played for was in Arizona. (cactus league) The 2 leagues are almost 2000 miles apart, and when you were confronted with the discrepancy, you then scrambled to claim "Oh, yeah, I forgot, I played in both leagues".

...and being able to articulate things has nothing to do with it. 90% of the comments you make would never have been made by someone who had actually played the game, on just about any level, much less the Pro's.

...no, I think the more likely scenario is that maybe you have a friend, or relative who may have played minor league ball, and you're just assuming their identity and history and are trying to pass yourself off as them. But again, your ruse does not add up, and it never has.

No player NO PLAYER ever forgets what League they played in. NOBODY, except those who have blunt force trauma or worse.

I think were dealing with a Fraud wannabe' here, end of story.

I can still name all Mexican League Teams, and Divisions, as much as I can every single MLB Team, CA. Lg, Pacific Coast Lg.

Hell, I can even name every single non-NHL Hockey Clubs too, and boy theres tons of those Non-NHL or AHL Teams.

2nd point, no player plays better coming right out of high school. (Go ask Steve Chilcotte), than they do by going to a University to play ball, even directly to the MInor leagues. Where every player REFINES HIS SKILLS, MORESO THAN HE EVER COULD IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Another BS piece of strewed from a brain trauma punk......Go ahead make my day....!!!

do ya' feel lucky???

nobody knew the name of the league u 2 tools!!! for those that know, bout 2 weeks left in reg season players were invited/ asked if they wanted to play winter ball, or instructional league ball.. they didn't call you in and ask if you wanted to play in the grapefruit league, u 2 fruits!!!!!

'for the fraud that you are.... would you bet the house on it?

...lol...he'll have a long wait.

...I think just for shits and giggles I'll create my own minor league identity...shouldn't be hard to do...a google search or 2 should give me enough info to pass myself off as someone else or maybe even as someone with the same name as me.

...I mean, hey, if it's on the internet, it has to be true.

The only fraud I know on these boards, names himself after a limp noodle....:rotfl:

59, Hey I remember seeing you play in the early 1900s. Your Ty Cobb, Right....I knew it, you Georgia peaches can run but not hide....It's an honor to be in your midst....

Signed-Bill Dickey.....!!!

...lol...I have not decided yet on who or what my assumed identity will be...I need to think about and be creative. I also need to decide what position I played and how great I was and how many concussions I got from taking fast balls to the head.

....don't forget to breathe through your eyes.

No that snorkel does NOT go up your ass.....but then try it out, if it fits wear it.
