Just seen on MLB pre-game Fran Charles announcing Carl Crawford was DFA by the Dodgers. Guy got that big money and turned to shit. Should have stayed a Ray where he was good.

Guy had a tremendous start to his career.

Saw Crawford play at Tropicans when he was on top of his game, dude could hit, play the field with great speed. Lost it after his wallet got to heavy. I haven't paid that much attention to his game out in LA or how much he may have left. That Dodger outfield was pretty crowded and competitive. Maybe some one will pick him up for cheap.

400 stolen bases in his first 8 full seasons (all in Tampa). And a great start to his career.

going to Boston was a bad move for Crawford. Followed by years of (as noted) being in too crowded an OF in Chavez, and Crawford doesn't fit into their Youth Movement, too fragile to often....

The Bums ate another BIG ONE again, Hello Tadpole (ya' dumb fk), take note, eat the $$$ and add by subtraction. Guggy already re-set the bar with eating 100 Mil (last year), to make room for a bulging farm system.... hello Tadpole, anyone home???

...the bad moves the Dodgers have made in the last few years are almost on par with the Yanx.

The false delusion that spending more and spreading it around compensates for smart investing.

There is a winning formula where buying rentals to round out a core nucleus exists and works....but Cashman lacks the strategy, vision and talent to execute this sort of business plan.

...that is the key...spending money wisely on FAs to augment your younger players.

Hank & Hal would rather put this once proud franchise that there father worked so hard to build, in the control of an imbecile rather than get there hands dirty & work to make things better.

mind boggling to say the least by both. I'd love to see the two teams totally trade Rosters and Payrolls, well screw the payrolls, leave the headache to the Finance Dept. and grand-kids.. (tongue in cheek)..
