Hey stupid Bill Jubran, you pathetic mentally-challenged moron, a wall would mean we don't need 7,000 troops babysitting the border forever because of big-mouthed empty-heads like you.

That's 7,000 American jobs and those folks spending their paychecks in our border towns...yeah...bad thing eh? Walls don't boost economies..people do.

We don't need 7000 troops at the border, wall or no wall.

Perhaps, not really sure. I think a certain amount of illegal activity in where a Black person could sit in a bus or protest in public or enter a White restaurant or drive after dark or rent a hotel room were some things I could have found all right. How about a 'colored' drinking out of a White drinking fountain or using a White restroom? This was once illegal.

And the Earth was once encased in ice.

Neither are relevant in today's world.

The paychecks that were spent were already being spent in towns in America, and mostly soldiers don't spend money when deployed, they save it or send it home to support their families.

Also, they were pulled from their regular posts which is enormously costly and causes problems with defense coverage and overall efficiency.

Bottom line, everyone who opposes Trump's border security plans is wasting billions upon billions of taxpayer money we could/should be using to keep Americans safe, secure, and healthy.

Bottom line, it was a stupid political stunt to send the military down there, it was a waste of time and money.

Trumps plan was initially to send troops to the border...so that was plan A if I'm not mistaken...just the other day he threatened to close the borders completely...this plan you admire seems fairly chaotic if you think about it.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/109th-congress/senate-bill/1033
mccain-kennedy bipartisan bill never voted on. some genuinely good ideas.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comprehensive_Immigration_Reform_Act_of_2006
this one got passed in the senate 62-38, but house conservatives killed it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borde...m_and_Illegal_Immigration_Control_Act_of_2005
house measure that passed but doa in senate cause of sanctuary criminality and a couple of other"hardline" items.
just food for thought cause there is nothing ever new under the sun.
these were all during republican house and senate majorities.

Calling any of these bi-partisan is absurd.

McCain was never a Republican, he was 100% anti-Trump, he was pure Deep State graft.

that may as well be, but, that was the only bipartisan bill. the other two were republican sponsored and passsed by republican majority chambers of congress.

What about compound fractures, heart attacks, and gaping abdominal wounds?

Don't baby it. Suck it up and get back on the athletic field. Football ain't for wimps.

Good grief not me! You're a good man Lanny!
Good call. However, I've got an ex wife who might disagree with you, albeit we divorced nearly half a century ago.

Obviously we do, at the moment, because Fancy Nancy and Shutdown Schumer are determined to waste billions on "obstruction".

Obstruction gives us nothing to show for billions wasted. A theft of taxpayer's dollars by Dems.

A wall gives us economic and practical basic border security. A phenomenal bargain providing much-desired security for Americans.

All Deep State orchestrations to keep anything from actually passing. All were written to be assured defeat, just for show.

Trump offered far more than any of those weak-kneed bandaids, including citizenship for all DACA illegals, Deep State geriatrics Pelosi and Schumer refused, proving once again they are lying when they claim to seek solutions.

It's funny how both the House and the Senate were ready to vote yay on it. I guess that was all for show also.

Thanks guys...having been a foreigner employed in another country puts my spin on things "American" a bit differently. Been through the process of getting work permit, etc....even got a driver's license printed in a language I couldn't read. My wife went through it here...People usually hire the best person for the job no matter where they're from in my experience. My wife can make way more money in her homeland than here..but she loves Oregon for reasons other than money

She loves Oregon because of me, doesn’t she? Admit it.
