That doesn't make a lot of sense. Trump was due to be out of office in a few days. Are you saying the establishment thought there was a significant chance that he'd run again in 2024 and be reelected, and at the same time, thought there was a significant chance that if they helped incite a riot, that Trump would be impeached for it and barred from office?
That seems like a mighty big stretch.
Plus, there's been hundreds of cases, thousands of hours of testimony, pages and pages of documentation, video, etc. etc. and there's never been any evidence found that undercover FBI agents were involved. None.
The closest anyone has come up with is that some of the losers in the crowd had been paid as FBI informants.
Since the Trumpists have seized control of the FBI, if there was any real evidence, don't you think they'd have produced it by now?
You are going way out of your way to believe in a conspiracy theory promoted by Trump and his enablers in order to minimize Jan 6th.
Lots of law enforcement types supported him then, and lots presumably still do. Plus, the political leadership of the FBI at the time was appointed by Trump.
