Anthony Davis and Portland

I’m just asking do they fit. Why not answer the question?
Because it was talked about at length in the trade thread and you're questioning a fit only achievable via trade, in a thread that specifically said it wasn't a trade thread.

Quick summary?
Just go find it in the trade thread. I don't have time to go back and read through all the posts that were made and summarize them all haha.

But if you really want an answer, Nurkic and Vonleh fit well together..

I don’t need you to summarize the entire conversation. Just let me know what you think. I’m honestly interested and have no idea what the answer is. AD isn’t Vonleh.

no, this isn't a trade thread. It's a thread asking if AD hates Portland by now:

* on April 6, 2014, Davis injured his back against Portland and missed the final 6 games of the season. He had physical therapy in the off-season

* on March 18, 2016, Davis injured his left knee against Portland and missed the rest of the season, 14 games

* on Oct 24. 2017, he again injured his left knee, 5 minutes into the game, and was taken for an MRI; results negative. He missed the next game

* on Dec 1, 2017, just prior to a game with Portland, he was diagnosed with a groin pull and missed the Blazer game and 4 of the next 6 games

* in a light practice/walk-thru the day before the 11/1/2018 game with the Blazers, Davis aggravated a strained elbow and missed the game

* finally, last Friday night, in the loss to Portland, Davis injured the index finger on his left hand and may miss a month of action

why would he even risk playing against Portland for the rest of his career? Did Portland's 'big-man-injury-juju' migrate to AD?

AD joins the Blazers and I'll quit sticking pins in his voodoo doll.

I'm just saying we have like 3 AD threads going at once. Their conversation is well thought out and addresses multiple nuances. It's a complicated answer with many different ways to look at it. That's why I'm saying just go find it in the trade thread. It'll thoroughly answer your question.

Personally, I don't see why they wouldn't fit. Nurkic as a passer with AD and Dame off the ball would be good. AD is a good passer out of doubles do I don't see people being able to effectively double off Nurkic without Davis being able to get him the ball. They'd be the best defensive frontcourt in the league. They'd be a good fit together.

Nice. That’s exactly what I was asking for. Thank you.

Met AD very briefly in November. Cool dude. He was walking in Millenium Park in Chicago with cameras following him. Told him that after he whooped us in the playoffs that he needed to come to Portland. He said he and Dame are cool and he liked the intensity of the fans.

It ain’t worth much, but he clearly has some respect.

No blurry picture?

If he comes over, the team needs to hook you up

I’m supposedly pouring wine for one NBA team at their final team dinner before their last home game. We shall see if it pans out. But I’m supposed to travel to them and pour wine at a dinner the night before their final home game. Not as cool as pouring for my #1 team but it’ll be sick if it pans out.

If it’s the Lakers and you don’t pee in the bottles you should be permanently banned from this board. ;)

If it were the Lakers, I’d have shared the team. You didn’t read my post very closely, FAMS.
