Allegedly, all they want is a first round pick (according to Chad Ford). If I'm Cho, I make that deal.

This is only 1/2 the story. We need to hear what Cho ordered for lunch to get the full picture.
Pritchard traveling with Pacers
Former Portland Trail Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard spent the first part of the trip traveling with the Pacers.
Pacers president Larry Bird invited Pritchard, who was fired by Portland about an hour before last summer's NBA draft, on the trip. Their friendship goes back to when the two were teammates with the Boston Celtics during the 1991-92 season.
Bird, who is in the last year of his contract, respects the job Pritchard did in rebuilding the Trail Blazers. Pritchard played a significant part in acquiring guard Brandon Roy and forward LaMarcus Aldridge.
The Pacers do not employ Pritchard. Bird likes to pick the brains of people who have held front office positions. Golden State's former executive of basketball operations, Chris Mullin, also a former Pacers player, might hang around the team later in the season.
"There's a lot of guys around the league I talk to," Bird said. "I've always done that."

Status Cho is still evaluating?
Status Cho, LOL. Come on Cho. Anthony Randolph for a first round draft pick, some cash, hell add a second round pick, it's a no brainer for this Portland team. I know Randolph is no Sean Marks, Cho's big accomplishment to-date, but hey, who is?I found this on BEdge: http://www.indystar.com/article/201.../Warriors-top-Pacers-last-second-shot-110-108

If I am NY, Randolph just became a little more expensive for Portland
Ah, a little subterfuge to try and squeeze more out of Status Cho. It won't work. He's still evaluating the breakfast menu at Denny's.New York fans on realgm are hearing that the Indiana trade is fake.
- TommyDeeTKB (Knicks beat writer)It wouldn't shock me if Indiana were the team randolph will end up with. But Portland to me seems the most likely. But we shall see.

Did he just delete this tweet? Wonder why I don't see it.- TommyDeeTKB (Knicks beat writer)
Sadly beat writers know nothing, just ask HCP.
SAN ANTONIO - Anthony Randolph seems to be counting the days until the Knicks finally send him on his way, with Portland emerging as a likely destination for the seldom-used forward.
A Blazers official confirmed that the team has interest in Randolph, but added that the team is not getting great reports on the 21-year-old.
"But he's also a guy that has the talent and is young enough where he might just work out," the source said. "There aren't many players in the draft like him."
The Blazers have two first-round picks and would be willing to swap Randolph for one of them. Knicks president Donnie Walsh met with Randolph's agent, Bill Duffy, last week in New York and it is clear that the Knicks will attempt to move Randolph before the Feb. 24 trading deadline.
Walsh is trying to acquire as many first-round picks as possible to either use in a trade for Carmelo Anthony or for assets in a future deal.
Portland's interest in Randolph increased when Marcus Camby had knee surgery that could sideline him for one month. The Blazers are already missing their best player, Brandon Roy, while Greg Oden is out the entire season. Dante Cunningham is currently the Blazers' first big man off the bench and yet head coach Nate McMillan has the team in contention for a playoff berth.
I hate to call him "racist" but he did the same thing with Blake too ...
Canzano said the background check on Randolph came back, and it "ain't good"
then again we have to consider the "source"
A Blazers official confirmed that the team has interest in Randolph, but added that the team is not getting great reports on the 21-year-old.
The quote in the above article says the same thing, sorta:
The hope is that Randolph is still young and there enough are strong personalities and good influences on this roster who can turn him around, if this is true.
Canzano said the background check on Randolph came back, and it "ain't good"
So when Canzano says it "ain't good", does he mean that he has some character issues in his past or that he's squeaky clean and there's no material to bitch about and say "I told you so" in a future column?
