Im not sure I did but I like my title better haha

It wasn’t my first choice but I bet he fits in really well offensively..

Called it in the other thread. Seems about right. Unsexy but he's a solid veteran. You'll know what you get from the Toll Train.

About the move expected. I can muster about as much approval/interest in this deal as it hits the cap.

Tolliver >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Meyers. BEST UPGRADE EVER.

Okay, I'm gonna go all in on lauding this pickup. I know some people may be disappointed because he's unsexy and has 0 upside, but that's okay, we have enough upside guys. The Blazers need a solid spacer like Tolliver. Someone that you know will give you consistent effort every game. Someone who knows his role on the team. Someone who won't pout when he's not given minutes.

And the biggest thing: Tolliver. Hits. Threes.

That's what he does. He had a down year in Minny, but Minny as a whole was disfunctional. He still managed to put up a 57% TS% because the only shots he takes are threes. He's two years removed from his best season in Detroit with SVG played him 22MPG and he put up 64TS% on good attempts. He's a career 38% 3 point shooter on 6 attempts/36mins, that's volume. And you know he will actually shoot them, he's not a fake spacer like Meyers Leonard. He's basically everything we wanted Meyers to be without the flashy dunks and rock hard screens, but at a veteran's minimum contract.

Solid, underrated signing. He's gonna hit threes, he's gonna give solid positional defense, and he's gonna make life easier for Dame and CJ.

Here's a great breakdown of his season with Detroit two years ago:

Again, down year with Minny, but his skillset should age just fine since he's basically just a shooter. I can see him as a steady rotation player while Nurk is still sidelined.

Lit it UP for Detroit 2 years ago. Not much of a defender or rebounder but at least an option when Zach inevitably gets into foul trouble.

He's a veteran PF who can shoot the 3 and averaged about 19 mpg coming off the bench for his career.

I'm hoping Olshey will sign another C or PG.

Tolliver is a guy that potentially could have some trade value at the deadline if he's out of the rotation.

I don't mind this signing at all. Good solid vet who won't be an issue if Skal beats him out for rotation minutes.

This is really good, I’m impressed

but I am overall a lil worried about our defense
