Lit it UP for Detroit 2 years ago. Not much of a defender or rebounder but at least an option when Zach inevitably gets into foul trouble.
Tolliver is a solid team defender. He also draws charges. He's literally top 20 every year in charges drawn per game. .22 last season, .23 the season before. How many total drawn charges did the Blazers have last year?

I know there was one in the playoffs.....

Also, of the stretch 4s left in FA, he's probably the second best one after JaMychal Green, who I don't think is actually a minimum guy and is just waiting to see which team Kawhi goes to before he signs his deal.

And by stretch 4s, I mean actual stretch 4s. Not theoretical stretch 4s. Not like, this guy can kinda shoot a bit maybe (ahem, Vonleh). Like....Tolliver actually takes a lot of threes, and makes them.

Another depth piece. He’ll get minutes when/if somebody gets nicked up.

I'm not impressed with this move, but I don't hate it

I'll need to see who else, if anybody, is signed by Portland, and who else is signed around the league for a minimum deal

with Nurk out, Portland has only 3 guys over 6'8. If either Whiteside or Zach get hurt, Portland would only have 2 healthy guys over 6'8 and one of them would be Skal. The ice couldn't be thinner

including Layman I count 14 players now. Am I missing anybody?

3 guys over 6'8" is enough in today's NBA. Only 2 need to play really.

I was kind of looking forward to signing a couple of these SL prospects.

But the cheap vets are decent trade chips.

Assuming Daum gets the other two way, we have one more spot open on the active roster.

Neil needs to use our first rounder for another good rotation big. Time to go all-in.

Who are you trading to make that happen?
