IMO you cannot compare Cousins to Sheed. Wallace was a pathetic excuse for a basketball player.
Not a chance with me. He acted like a petulant child the entire time he was here. If he didn't want to play that game he would just throw a fit and get thrown out. If he didn't like what someone had to say he would throw a towel in their face. When anyone decided to ask him why it was "Cut the Check". He was the epitome of what was and is wrong with today's NBA. He showed no respect to Portland or their fan base. He absolutely showed no respect for the game. Weak ass jump shooter that would cry if anyone brushed up against him in a game and couldn't hold his own on defense. Sorry. Not a fan of Rasheed Wallace at all. Cost this team a Chip because he was a cry baby.If Sheed was 28-32 now he would be the perfect PF for this team. I would take that player in a heartbeat. Younger Sheed was immature, but the veteran would be a great fit.
I’d be a big fan of it, thinking about how Dame could get the best out of Boogie has me salivating
Imagine us in the playoffs next year with Nurkic/Boogie/Collins depth at the big man spot, we’d have an option for every situation possible. With CJ and Dame bombing from everywhere ontop of that I’d really like our chances if KD leaves GSW.
Honestly of the teams with big cap space I don’t think any of them would be particularly interested in Cousins, except the Lakers. But I think they’d probably gamble on being able to get someone better than him with their cap space and it would backfire on them
Given the price tag, I suspect the Blazers have to choose between Kanter, Hood and Curry - and of these, Hood is probably the most important - the Blazers will have to get by with Zach / Skal filling in for Nurk and Simons filling in for Curry, but they really have no-one that combines Hood's ball-handling, shooting and scoring in the 2nd unit.Right about now I'd pay Kanter to backup Nurk and forget Boogies pricetag. Kanter is a good fit and doesn't mind coming off the bench
I'm not sure I agree with that... He's been a good soldier this season for us, but I doubt he'd be content coming off the bench long term.Right about now I'd pay Kanter to backup Nurk and forget Boogies pricetag. Kanter is a good fit and doesn't mind coming off the bench
Agreed. I think there will be some passable C's on the market that can be had for the minimum.Given the price tag, I suspect the Blazers have to choose between Kanter, Hood and Curry - and of these, Hood is probably the most important - the Blazers will have to get by with Zach / Skal filling in for Nurk and Simons filling in for Curry, but they really have no-one that combines Hood's ball-handling, shooting and scoring in the 2nd unit.
Have respect for Sheed. He led us to two WCFs. He’s also an NBA Champion and both Billups and Brown immediately said he was the reason they won. If you look at all the numbers, he should’ve been Finals MVP.IMO you cannot compare Cousins to Sheed. Wallace was a pathetic excuse for a basketball player.
No.Any chance now ??
Cost us a Chip?? Why don’t you check the boxscore to see how Grant and Sabonis played in game 7. Sheed was the only one who produced. He was a great defender. People say he choked in 4th but he actually scored 7 points in the qtr.Not a chance with me. He acted like a petulant child the entire time he was here. Then you don't remember what went on or maybe you were not old enough to have been around and feel the ramifications to what he did around here.Have respect for Sheed. He led us to two WCFs. Sheed was frustrated because Sabonis flopped and elbowed Sheed in the face.
Because of a soft tissue injury? So I guess hamstring injuries are off the table also?Nope
Stick a fork in any thought of wanting Cousins.
What will he cost now? What do we need Cousins for? We've got Nurk and Collins already. We might be able to afford Kanter, but there is no way in hell we can afford Cousins.
our souls. What will he cost now?
So he’s a white walker now?our souls.
Dude! You call yourself a mod? WTF?
In the "pop culture familiarity" section on the application, I simply wrote, "this space intentionally left blank". @SlyPokerDog's old, so he probably didn't read it.Dude! You call yourself a mod? WTF?
You have GOT to get with the programIn the "pop culture familiarity" section on the application, I simply wrote, "this space intentionally left blank". @SlyPokerDog's old, so he probably didn't read it.
No need to crow about it. I'm sure there are others besides just me that prefer to remain unsullied by that show. Plus, it'd take a lot more than a night's watch for me to catch up.You have GOT to get with the program
I actually kind of want to watch that show, but it's intimidating. It's got like 7 seasons, That's a lot of tv time when you have kids and other things to do.No need to crow about it. Here is how i watched it. I went to Walmart and bought the CD set. Then sat down and watched one show when i had time. Most episodes are about an hour. You end up getting your stuff done and spending time before bed watching a show. Don't try this during Blazer season but after playoffs you will have a little void. Might be a good time.I actually kind of want to watch that show, but it's intimidating. It's got like 7 seasons, That's a lot of tv time when you have kids and other things to do.
Muscle is a soft tissue injury. I guess you don't know that. They heal. They heal completely.I wouldn't classify a torn quad as a mere soft tissue injury. And yes, a torn hamstring would be concerning as well. You weaken your point by using langue implying this was a mere strain.
