Ha ha...Dodgers suck. I'll be glad when they are done so my roommate cant hog the TV for 3 1/2 hours. God I hate baseball.

i'm rooting for the dodgers now in the playoffs...down 0-2 the fucking phillies...DAMNIT COME ON LA

I know we have a few Dodger fans and Cub fans. Probably some Mariner fans besides myself and a few other teams as well. I'm trying to find out how many, so I stickied roll call threads in all of the MLB team forums. I would appreciate it if people would respond to the threads. If you don't want to post there regularly, that's fine, but it is an easy way for me to keep track of who likes baseball around here. Thanks.

I'm a Cardinals fan. But, I've been to a game at Chavez Ravine about 3 years ago. Holy shit, never seen as many hot women in skimpy skirts and tight tops during the summer. I was in hog heaven.

My favorite park is still Busch Stadium though. Anheiser Busch every where you go, the beer flows like water at that stadium. St. Louis has a really laid back approach when it comes to beer, they even sell it at little league games.

I was a Dodger fan back when Greg Brock, an Oregon kid, was playing first. I had some interaction with him before he hit the majors , one of my few brushes with fame.

McMinnville right?

Right here.

To date myslef: Garvey, Lopes, Russell and Cey . . . what an infield.

Are they making the playoffs this year?

Not to date myself, but...

To make room for Cey at 3rd base, they moved Garvey to 1st and Bill Buckner from 1st to the outfield.

Russell was an outfielder they converted to SS.

I was a huge Lopes fan.

I've been to Wrigley. It was fun, you could feel it is special. It is older though, so it isn't as wheelchair accessible as most, but not bad, you just have to go up a small curb to get to the landing for wheelchairs. The full list of stadiums I've been to is about halfway down this thread.

Growing up in Chicago, I went to about 40 games a season. Usually after school, after the 7th inning they'd let you in for free if the game wasn't tied.

Tickets then cost $1.00 for bleachers, $2.50 for grandstand, and $3.50 for reserved grandstand.

fucking doyers....they lose a bunch of games to the Pirates and Padres...what a choke if Colorado sweeps this weekend. I've got tix to game 1 in LA of the NLDS and I want it to be on Wednesday dammit.

If they lose tonight and tomorrow I might go on Sunday for the hell of it...would be an electric atmosphere.

Chavez Ravine is still a fine place to spend an evening, regardless of the outcome of the game.

yeah. only thing that sucks is zero public transportation to there. and the bars around there suck.

I wanna go to Wrigley Field..was trying to go last year in round 1 for cubs v. doyers but couldn't find anyone to go with me on short notice. Looks awesome with the bars all swarming with peeps pre and post game.

Wrigley Field is perhaps one of my favorite places on this planet, with the exception of left field. Left Field Sucks. Give me a sunny day, a little Ronnie Woo Woo, some Old Style and a Red Hot, and that's as close to heaven as I've ever been.

Bartman!

haha

That poor guy. He has to live with the fact he ruined the chances for the team he loves more than any other to get to the Series. It would be like if any of us (except for DaRizzle and MIXUM) caused the Blazers to lose.

tomorrow is Star Wars night at Doyers stadium. oh god. people are goign in costumes

I lived in LA when I was a little kid and was a huge Dodgers fan. However, after I moved to Portland, I became a Red Sox fan and the Dodgers moved into second place in my heart.

My first real baseball memory was when Gibby went yard in the 88' Series. We called up Granny in LA and everything. Went to game in 1990 I think. Mickey Hatcher hit an inside the park homerun. Good times.

When they're playing the Cards, I'm a frickin huge Dodger fan. Huge.

Mine is sitting three rows behind Jaime Martinez, his radar gun, and his Panama hat, watching Dusty Baker homer in both games of a double-header...
